Food was surprisingly delicious for the hotel space and sparse restaurant feel. I definitely felt it was over priced but on par for hotel restaurants. Soup was amazing!

The 5055 burger (medium) with fries was very good. Done perfectly. Fries were also crispy but not overdone, lightly salted.
The pepperoni flat bread was more of a personal size pizza vs flat bread. It was done quite well and hit the spot.
Order at the bar and grab a table in the newly remodeled atrium.

Natural light provided by the skylight in the center along with soothing fountains. There is an extremely limited menu (5 or 6 items) and no modifications could be made to any of the meals. There was only one server for the entire area, because her coworker called out. The bar offers beer and wine, and liquor but there was no drink menu. There were several teal blue beverages with a slice of like, but I’ll never know what they were because there was no cocktail menu.

The restaurant was shut down years ago, due to COVID and has not reopened although in the future, it may. However, currently there is still a kitchen and you may order at the bar. There’s a few good options but it’s a very limited menu selection. Drinks are good though!

The food was pretty good! Perhaps a bit over priced but most hotel restaurants tend to charge a bit more anyways. The atmosphere wasn’t bad but didn’t necessarily coincide with the cost of a plate. Our server was very polite but not very sensitive to our needs as we mentioned being in a rush but ended up waiting 20 minutes to receive our check. The only true redeeming quality of this place was the food which was good but didn’t stand out in any spectacular sort of way.

The children’s meals were both devoured and the adults enjoyed a pasta dish, salmon, and pork chops. All of the meals were good portions and very satisfying. The desserts (chocolate layer cake, chocolate lava cake) were a must if you like chocolate. Been here many times. It’s our favorite spot in Guelph. We go out of our way to come here. The food, the ambiance, the service is excellent.

(Visited in November 2017) – I’ve eaten several meals at this restaurant during this stay at the Embassy Suites and it’s a much nicer restaurant than you’ll find at most hotels. They don’t take for granted you have to eat here, but their food and service shows they’re trying to make you feel comfortable and enjoy a great meal.
The one area in which it fails is price. Overall, it’s probably 15-20% higher than it should be, and though I’m sure the argument is that patrons are paying for convenience, I just can’t buy that. The restaurant doesn’t cost any more to operate than if it was standalone on the street.
Burgers and club sandwiches are awesome, as are the fries and salads. The wait staff we’ve had thus far has been very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend eating here if you don’t mind paying the inflated prices.

Food was good. Service, not so good. We were never asked if we wanted anything to drink, the waiter just kept filling our water glasses. Took a long time to get our meal and there was only about 10 people in the place. Would not eat here again!
