It’s always hard to find a good Chinese food restaurant on the road. I wish this place was in my home town! Egg roll was crispy, tasty and not oily!!! Boneless spareribs were awesome and I got the combination of chicken and cashews with a little spice and it was delicious! The fried rice had plenty of pork and veggies in it so yeah this place is a home run! Thank you guys for a fantastic dinner!

Been coming here for years and never been disappointed, until yesterday. I ordered crab Rangoon and there was barely little to none crab meat in them. Just a bunch of cream cheese.

This place was pretty good! I called in my order for takeout and it was ready in about 15 minutes, and the lady working the front was very nice and helpful!
I ordered the orange chicken and garlic broccoli, which were both delicious! I also got the chicken fried rice but I was a little disappointed because it just tasted like plain rice to me.

It’s under the new ownership, so expect some chaos. I ordered pork noodle and only came home and found out they gave me pork rice. It did not worthwhile for me to go back. They need to learn how to take care their customers like previous owner.

I grew up in piscataway and ever since 1999 to currently and the food was amazing. but under the new ownership the food is not. Can’t tell how many times my family stopped in or ordered out from here. But recently since the new ownership it is not the same. The food is more like water taste. Not flavored the spices and flavor is not even close. Im not sure what changed but this was always the best place in nj back before the new ownership. I always recommend everyone to go there. Now I would not even think about that. After the second time trying it out since the new ownership. Its a big NO to me. They should just go back to the original style of food. Sadly it comes with ownership. Not sure what it could be but definitely not the same by miles!. Hate to leave this to a great place back than. But now its not.

3.5 stars is what I’d give if you could give half stars. Reasonable prices considering the portions are a decent size. Overall good but nothing special. General chicken had a lot of sauce which I liked but the chicken itself was a bit dry as if it had just been on the stove simmering for a while. I asked for it to be spicy but it wasn’t at all. There is indoor seating but no outdoor seating.

When our regular place went out of business during the COVID pandemic, we needed to find a new place. We settled on China Magic after going to several other places. The food is consistent and great tasting. I hate going to places where it is a different experience every time you go. The menus attached to this review are current as of October 2025.
