Not a good experience at all.
I left a $10 tip on a $45 pickup order. Pizza was burnt on the bottom. It was not char, it was burnt. Ordered buffalo wings and got something completely different. Asked for crushed red pepper and parmesan and got an annoyed look. I used to love Juniors. This is not the place I remember.

My husband and I were incredibly impressed with JR’s in Winooski! It’s a spot that we have driven by a million times but never really noticed until recently and decided to visit tonight on a whim.
The space felt warm and welcoming, from the cozy colors and music to the thoughtful décor and even the comfortable temperature. The owner took care of us personally and was very attentive, not just with our table, but with every guest in the restaurant.
Our food arrived in an impressively short amount of time and the portions were huge! We will gladly return soon!

my boyfriend and i were visiting Vermont from Massachusetts and decided to eat here before we headed home. The chicken ceasar salad was the star of the show. genuinely the absolute best salad ive ever had in my entire life and now im upset i even had it because now forever all other ceasar salads are going to suck. im writing this review soley to tell you how good that salad was. the croutons were garlicy and the salad itself had a hint of lemon. it was amazingly seasoned and the choice of greens was perfect. I want it right now honestly. I also got the stuffed mushrooms which were good, i just had to add some salt. the bed of arugula and parmesan they sat on added a nice fresh bite. my boyfriend got the philly cheese steak sub with sweet potato fries. the fries were a perfect crispiness, and the filling of the sub was perfectly seasoned. his only complaint was that the sub itself was a little too wide, which made it a bit tough to eat. he recommends that they cut the bread the other way lol. other than that, everything was amazing, and again i cannot stress enough how amazing that dang salad was. i might make the 3.5 hour drive back someday just for it. also the bartender was lovely and she was very attentive.

Sad to say but no longer returning here; we had been customers since 2021. Makes more sense that the hours are reduced to 15/week unfortunately.
The food was not good versus how it’s been in the past. The waiter said they had a new chef but I wonder what else is going on.
The marsala meatballs used to be the BEST thing on the menu; this time they were dry and under-seasoned. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo was mentioned on the menu as “Spicy” however it wasn’t; they no longer use jalapenos and the sauce was bland and almost sweet? We’ll remember past experiences fondly, though.

I went in and ordered food for my family this afternoon due to papa franks being closed. I haven’t eaten here since they moved from behind Burger King. When I walked in the place was empty,Bella took my order and was kind and polite with a warm smile. I ordered a white pizza with chicken and broccoli, 2 side orders of meatballs and a spaghetti meatball dinner. The pizza has 0 flavor and the Alfredo sauce is overloaded but bland with no seasonings at all. The meatballs are a taste I can’t describe and fall right apart when we tried to cut them up, were also very bland. The spaghetti was very hard and despite running it under hot water and reheating it. The sauce is thin like water. Th best thing out of the $90 I spent was the soft plain bread and the drink I had at the bar while waiting for this disaster I am very disappointed and this food is being thrown away because no one will eat it.

November 2022 Update – Jr’s Original Peking Duck is back to being an Italian restaurant, so what follows is not relevant any longer 🙁
First things first… you might have guessed by the restaurant’s name, this is no longer an Italian restaurant! Make sure you’re looking at the right reviews and menus when doing your research.
We were saddened to hear of Silver Palace’s closing but delighted to hear the two chefs from Silver Palace were going to be serving up the delicious food we’d become accustomed to at this new location, Jr’s Original Peking Duck House.
We started with a couple of cocktails (Sparkling Blossom and Tokyo Fashion) to accompany our appetizers – Popcorn Shrimp and Szechuan Dim Sum. Both were delicious and we did a very poor job of pacing ourselves.
We chose the Sweet and Sour Chicken and the Sesame Shrimp for our entrees and were delighted by the aroma and taste of the food. The servings were large and we have plenty left for another meal.
Our server (I didn’t get his name… sorry!!) was fantastic. He was attentive and made an already great dining experience that much better. Definitely going back!

You don’t have to worry about construction hurting your business as the quality of the food you served will do that for you!! What a mess of a pizza. Never mind it was undercooked. Save your money & go elsewhere so you’re not hungry after you receive your food.

We both went with the Veal Parmigiano with thin spaghetti. Excellent choice. HUGE portion. A boat load of thinly sliced bread was delivered to the table ahead of time. I highly recommend. It was a late arriving dinner crowd, but by the time we left at 8:00 it had a nice crowd.

Glen and his team made my canceled flight back home worthwhile when I went there awaiting my rescheduled flight. They made me feel at home as I ate a feast. They catered to my every request and even threw in some extras. Would recommend completely for excellent pizza and service
