When we first started going here it was fine, not amazing but good enough to order again. Lately everything has been incredibly bland and kinda soggy. It honestly looks like cafeteria food in a world where spices dont exist. Id love to accept this as a one off but our orders have been consistently bad no matter what we order.

We usually get take out. The Lo Mein is really good. Yummy chicken dishes. Good Gyzoa with tons of flavor. Rice comes with most combo dishes. They don’t carry sushi anymore sadly. It was good.

Visited based on other reviews, not disappointed we did! Orange chicken, beef with veggies and combo lo mein are for lunch today. Started out with fried dumplings and edamame (large portion!) which were delicious. Wonton soup is large and full of veggies, which were very fresh and delicious. Beef with veggies is tender and cooked perfectly, not chewy or fatty. All food very fresh, crispy and flavorful. Glad we tried it!

This hidden gem in Johnstown CO was a treat to find. The food was very good and as fresh as it gets. Our server was so kind and sweet. Very attentive to all her guests. The owner was also very kind. Bathrooms were very clean, along with the restaurant. There are tables, booths, and a sushi bar in the front. Now, on to the food.
1. Appetizers: rangoon and fried spring rolls. Definitely delicious and flavorful rangoon. Didnt seem to be factory because the ingredients were fresh and the flavor profile was specific, not bland. Spring rolls were good as well. Fresh cut cabbage in them.
2. Entree 1 was their orange beef with fried rice. The fresh orange scent was the first thing I noticed when the food was served. The beef cuts were very tender and fried in a typical asian coating. But, it was hand made, tender, flaky, and easy on the pallette. This dish came with a side of broccoli and orange slices.
3. Entree 2 was their orange chicken. Reason, to compare the beef to the chicken. This dish came with lomein. First lets talk about the lomein. We could order the lomein as a meal its own. It was that tasty. Now, the orange chicken. I am thinking the chicken was cuts of chicken thigh. A great choice for this dish. Again, the dredged chicken cuts were tender and flaky just like the beef. Both entrees had a perfectly gelled orange sauce with little orange rind shavings in it. A few red pepper flakes to off set the citrus notes. This dish was also served with a side of broccoli and orange slices.
4. Unagi or Eel & cucumber roll: This is a perfect way to test a sushi bar. And, I was impressed by the Unagi. It was well made and presented well on the platter. It tasted as what you would expect for a good Unagi roll.
I do not usually give 5 stars on a first visit to any establishment. But, Little House Chinese and Sushi went above and beyond. If you want fresh hand made Chinese, I highly suggest Little House as your next stop for Chinese food. We drove over 55 miles to try them and we were not disappointed. You will notice we tasted the food before taking photos so my apologies, but it was really that good.

Cute place, but I think we maybe chose the wrong things on the menu. The rice noodle soup was difficult to eat, big pieces of protein and veggies and didn’t have much flavor. The traditional sesame chicken was mostly thigh meat and just not up to the standard of other asian resturants.

Made a large order online for a family birthday party. Order was ready on time and was very authentic Chinese food. A place you can go to o er and over again.
Had dine-in sushi and it was wonderful. Great service and all food was served as ordered.
Edit: January 2026 still the best Chinese food in Northern Colorado. New Year’s Day dinner included big tasty portions of sesame chicken. Sides of fried rice, hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, egg roll, and crab rangoons were all perfectly made. They also supported the Johnstown Senior Center silent auction with two $100 gift cards. Restaurants with great food who support our community will always get my business.

The cutest hole in the wall restaurant ever. The decor and ambiance are just average, but do you ever really go to a Chinese restaurant for the ambiance. Only if you want to spend ad arm and a leg at PF Chang’s. The food was on point and flavored just right. I was in the mood for Chinese fried rice and they delivered. The shrimp fried rice was seasoned perfectly. Not too much white pepper or soy sauce. Their general tso was also very nice. The sauce was corn starched a little much, but the flavor was well balanced. Not too sweet. Their family meals are a great value for all the food you get. This might be our new favorite Chinese restaurant. Worth the drive from Fort Collins.
