The hot dogs were AMAZING. Each different in their own way. We ended up getting 14 hotdogs in total (family of 3). 3 for me, 3 for my SO, 2 for my oldest, and 6 of the dessert dogs to try a good variety. My SO and I have been wanting to try Dogslinger for a few months and finally did. It was well worth the $110. The cashier was super sweet and understanding with the larger order. The wait wasn’t long at all. They have a smaller parking lot. A few tables, maybe at most 15 seats. They also have a punch card after 10 dogs you get a free one.

My son and I ate here on Friday, February 20th, 2026 for the first time. I had the Italian Beef with au jus on the side with their handcut fries. My son had the I’m From Chicago Dog, the Seattle Dog and their handcut fries. We were highly impressed with our meals. We’ve heard so many good reviews and we finally made our way there. We will be back! There are so many things we want to try! I must also say that the cashier was super nice and welcoming!

One must ask themselves, how does a person that doesn’t like hot dogs give Dogslinger’s a 5 star review?
Simply the fact that they have many other items that I do like. My favorite is the breaded pork tenderloin like I grew up with in Indiana. They have several breakfast items that I have tried and like. I have also tried a couple of sausages. They have RC Cola that i also grew up with. If you are a cola fan of either of the two major brands, try an RC and see what you think.
The service is excellent. We have been there enough in the last few months that they know us by name, and my order at lunch or supper, We usually spend a few minutes talking to them if we happen to be there between their busy times.
I understand why they are closed Sunday thru Tuesday, but I wish that wasn’t the case.
We have learned to schedule our medical appointments on Wednesday thru Friday so that we can hit Dogslinger’s for a meal.

First time here and ordered the “Blue Lacy” it was absolutely delicious! The staff is super sweet and kind. My husband and I felt super welcomed. The lovely young lady behind the counter spoke to us for a bit (I didn’t get her name but she is pregnant) and she is funny and had great suggestions! We will be back.

Love all of the options here! The menu is carefully crafted with exciting choices ranging from the classic Carolina Dog to unique creations like the Junkyard, Hawaiian Dog, and Corgi Dog. Honestly, you can’t go wrong at Dogsliders. They even have a dessert menu with plenty of sweet options to finish off your meal. I highly recommend trying the 3- or 7-mini option so you can sample different flavors and find your favorite. The staff (and owner) are super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back to Dogsliders!

Simply calling what we ate here a “hotdog” would be an understatement. These were highly crafted, high quality, premium frankfurters. Being topped with the best of ingredients, each were focused on having thoughtful flavor of both the familiar AND the different in culinary synchronicity. With the 1st bite, my eyes widened in delighted suprise. We kept talking about what we had eaten after we left and I am quite sure we will never forget them. We tried the Chicago Dog, a Vienna Beef hotdog with mustard, tomato, relish, pickle, celery salt, and sport peppers on a poppy seed bun and the Cimarron Dog, topped with house made Uruguayan chimichurri and Peruvian pepper relish. Very delicious. Makes me want to try everything else there. But as good as the food was…our time and conversation with Karin was somehow inexplicably better. More than just taking our order, she spent time talking to us like we were friends. She seemed so happy to be working there and happy we were there. She had so many nice things to say about the owners, I wish I had a chance to meet them myself. If hotdogs are the soul of Dogslingers…then Karin is the heart. Thank you, Karin…Thank you, Dogslingers…You are appreciated and won’t be forgotten.

Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in the area. The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel very welcome there. The hot dogs were some of the best dogs I’ve had. They take pride in their food and even introduced us to a delicious pb&j dessert dog that I’d definitely go back for. The Chicago dogs were genuine authentic Chicago dogs (and delicious). Will definitely be taking my family/friends here when they come to visit.

We finally tried Dogslingers tonight after saying we’ve wanted to forever. All I have to say is why did we wait so long?! Food is delicious, staff is absolutely delightful – Delaney was super sweet and helpful with recommendations. I got a flight and my boyfriend got the Italian beef dip. The pasta poppers were top tier!
Even got their highly sought after ooey gooey butter cake. I got an espresso butter cake to enjoy with some coffee for dessert at home. We definitely will be back!
