This place is great. I recently visited for the first time in years (moved out of state) and the experience was wonderful. I used to spend a fair bit of time here, karaoke, open mic, played several gigs, and the improvements the new owner has made make the place even better. Wonderfully friendly staff, top-notch service, fair prices. The atmosphere is welcoming and the addition of the stage area made this place more than I knew it could be. While some reviews mention the cigarette smoke (yes, this is a smoking bar) it is far better than in past years. Shorty’s is highly recommended.

We went to get some food. Dbl Bacon Cheeseburgers and they forgot the bacon. Burger was good, fries were good, Onion rings and mushrooms a little too done but tasted fine. Atmosphere was a bar which I am not used to because I stopped the bar sceen years ago. Cig smoke wasn’t too bad.
Nice pool tables, Beer Pong, and full bar and a place for a band. Servers were good. Great place if you are still on the bar sceen or want something to eat. Really clean and nice place.

This was only our 2nd visit, the first time was during the day, so being there on a Saturday night was a completely different experience.
We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Saturday night. He was a great guy, kind, and genuinely cared about his patrons’ experiences
The bartenders were welcoming and professional. The food and drinks were pretty good as well.
The crowd was mostly friendly, I just wish this was a smoke-free establishment. We had to come home and immediately shower because of the cigarette smell.

Went in for lunch with a couple friends who just kept telling me that Shorty’s has the best burgers in the area. I agree, the burgers are fantastic! Travis was a fun time. The regulars were friendly. Would definitely recommend a stop in for a bite.

I regret not grabbing a picture of my bacon Cheeseburger because it was amazing! Highly recommend. Service was awesome, very friendly. I’ll make the trip here again if I’m down this way.
