Great spot to eat at when you are in the PdC/Mar-Mac area. It’s a nice “mom & pop” style diner with tasty food at reasonable prices. It’s worth saving room for pie & ice cream at the end of your meal!

Maggie’s is such a great old fashioned diner. Plenty of table seating for everyone arranged to provide conversation, open kitchen staffed by the owner himself. The best part – the food! We had perfect burgers, crunchy but not overcooked onion rings and cheese curds, a real home style grilled ham and cheese and the star of the group an amazing Reuben!

Me and my friend Steven stopped in for breakfast we had no clue that Maggie’s was still open. But it was worth a shot seeing. The food was great I had biscuits and gravy with hash browns. The gravy was on point. I will definitely be eating at Maggie’s diner again.

We went there twice while we were in Marquette Iowa. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. I had the hot roast beef sandwich
It was priced average and tasted great. For breakfast I had two eggs over easy ham steak hash browns and toast. It was cooked to perfection and tasted great.
I would recommend this restaurant if you’re ever in the area.

Best breakfast ever! Loved my eggs, bacon was crispy, not greasy, hashbrowns cooked to perfection being crispy on the outside, tender inside. Staff was very welcoming with their smiles as they poured coffee, always pleasant. You just don’t see places like this anymore. I will go out of my way to visit again when I am anywhere near here. Classic:)
