We are in town for the weekend and went to Lucy’s for a few drinks, it was such a great environment!! Great music, food, and games to play! We went back for breakfast and the burrito and chicken and waffles were SO good!! Definitely recommend!!

Beer selection: 4/5 (would love to see some local beers on tap!)

Sweet potato fries: 1/5 (tasted pretty bad – like freezer burn)
Seating: 4/5 (there’s honestly not a lot of seating if it gets busy)
Atmosphere: 4/5 (I think it just needs a few adjustments and advertisement to make it a popular spot!!)

Love Lucy’s yard!! Owner and service is great, plus good food (try the chicken sandwich with the fries – they are seasoned awesome). Dogs are also more than welcome and there is plenty of shade/fans to stay cool.

We were really excited to check this place out and bring our little pup along. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found a large sign saying they’re closed until April, even though Google currently shows them as open. It would be really helpful to update the Google listing to reflect seasonal hours or temporary closures so others don’t make a special trip like we did. Looking forward to visiting once they reopen!

My husband and I got here around 2:30pm, assuming brunch rush was over, and had the best time hanging out and decided to order food which was TO DIE FOR!

Glad that this spot got reopened by new Management as Lucy‘s Yard. It’s a great location and can be a great venue if run properly with its location south side of Waters Creek and really near all the apartments.
Current management really needs to clean up the back yard area which had been not used in several years and is very rundown. New management added a concrete pad for a band out in back, there is good shade both in front and back which also has a lot of sun if that’s what you want. I’m sure Management will work out all the kinks in the next couple months so I’ll revisit and reevaluate for a higher score when they’ve had that chance
