CAN’T beat the southern hospitality here. Theyve got an Awesome young team runnin it. The crayfish was fire, (sample featured in photo. Messy but worth it) frird rice and eggroll was more than enough. Sunday nights are easy, not too many people, and still lively friendly environment. Billiards and good vibes. Remember to to tip your people they work hard.

My best friend and I went to the bulldog for the first time we sat down and waited for someone to take our order or acknowledge that we were there. That never happened. As we watch other customers come in an order then sit down we got up and did the same. The girl sitting at the register eating her fried rice all while smoking her vape and playing on her phone took our order. (No tip) for her because she watched us sit there for at least 10 minutes and never said one word. When we received our crawfish they were so small these babies were not old enough too be boiled. The only good thing was they were easy to peelll, but once in your mouth it was like eating nothing you didn’t even have to chew they were so small. I ordered a large daqauri the bar and waited for the bar tender to serve me. She took my payment but forgot my drink. I waited then walked to our table thinking she was gonna bring it there. Nope I had to go back to the bar and ask where is my drink. A guy proceeded to try and ring me up again when I said no its already paid for. Finally the girl bartender went and get my drink. The customer service sucked in this place. There were other first timers there who also waited to be served on until they figured it out. The crawfish was small and not worth the price at all.

We went last night for the Super Bowl deal, posted on Facebook. Buy 3 pounds and get a free half pound of shrimp. The bag included, no exaggeration, 6 pieces of shrimp, FOUR potatoes and a corn. They don’t even give you free potatoes and corn in the crawfish bags, which is clearly stated on their post, yet they made sure to add some for that extra weight in the “free shrimp” bag.

The crawfish were perfectly seasoned. They were of mid to large size. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. They offer outdoor seating if you don’t want to be inside.

It’s one of the best bars in Lafayette. The crawfish is really good and the prices are reasonable. The happy hour prices are very good. They close late and are open more frequently than other places. They trivia night was nice.

Loved it!!! The crawfish were huge and seasoned just right! When I got there, it was a long line of cars about 3 blocks long. I was hesitant to stay, but I’m glad I did. It was well worth it. I’ve been back 3 more times since and will continue to go.

The crawfish were seasoned well, but they were some of the tiniest I’ve ever seen. Half of the 5lbs we ate went to waste because the really tiny ones taste like dirt and are basically inedible. I suppose that’s not their fault as the winter freeze messed up our season. Also, there was a ton of noise and drama/fighting outside in the parking lot because Shane’s next door had 2 tow trucks taking away everyone’s vehicles that were from the Bulldog. The tow trucks were literally circling the parking lot, circling the block over and over again, and harassing people. It was pretty insane when all we were doing was coming for some crawfish. Thankfully we ubered and didn’t have to worry about the parking situation. But BEWARE there is a parking lot war going on between Bulldog and Shane’s and you don’t want to be caught in the middle. One poor lady was crying her eyes out bc she didn’t have the money to get her car out of impound, and she was going to miss work and possibly even lose her job the next day. We will be back and try the crawfish again and hopefully the drama has quieted down by then.
