The fajitas and enchiladas at Mexcal – Mexican Cuisine are excellent! The server was friendly and thoughtful about working around my son’s gluten/dairy free allergies. We also liked the music and decor a lot. We highly recommend it!

It started off with a smell I still can’t describe. It had the potency of a teenager that has discovered Axe body spray for the first time. I would have left, but the family wanted Mexican food.
It took almost 10 minutes after being seated to see the waiter for the first time. We ordered food on the spot unsure of the next visit.
Food came out 30 minutes later. 2 people shared a nice looking pineapple fajita dish. The other 2 got a burrito and enchilada with mole sauce. Those 2 people were unsatisfied. Should kept my first instinct and left on first smell of the place.
If you have never had mole sauce, it’s a bit like cinnamon and dirt mixed together…

Happy hour was awesome from from 8pm-11. $3.50 margaritas, can’t beat that! The food and drinks were delicious I left very full and with a great buzz.

I had high expectations, because this community has never had great Mexican food. The service I received was great, I liked the atmosphere and the horchata was delicious, but the food (fajitas rancheras) was just a bland version of Qudoba.

Excellent food. Fresh, balanced favor, and authentic. As someone who has traveled the world and eaten at countless restaurants, I love finding locally owned restaurants that offer food you can’t get anywhere else in an area. This is one of the those places. You will not find this food anywhere near La Crosse. When it comes to Mexican food, and when I try a new place, I always order bean and rice as for me, this is the real test of quality. Mexical nailed it! The beans and rice offer a great flavor and were cooked perfect. I ordered the goat tacos as my main dish and I truly enjoyed them. FYI, My order was take out. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes.

The restaurant was nice and clean. The service was great. My food wasn’t that great I ordered the Enchiladas verde. It wasn’t like the normal enchiladas I’m used to and there was no verde(green salsa) on my enchilada at all. I feel like the meal overall lacked flavor a bit.

Great food, atmosphere, and service! The Mar Y Tierra Pineapple dish was delicious and the presentation was beautiful! This place is nothing like the typical Mexican restaurants in the area. Fresh seafood ceviche, great margaritas, and all served with a smile. This will be at the top of our list of places to eat in La Crosse. Can’t wait to try all the other dishes!

If your looking for a place with unique Drinks, they have not disappointed us. I usually do the street tacos since you can pick individual different ones. Evenings are popular for many to go but lunch is good if your trying to plan for a big big group.
