It’s an old school bar and restaurant with large portions and damn good food. I’ve been here several times throughout the decades, and it is consistently good food. It’s97 right that it should be on the corner because it is a cornerstone of the restaurant culture in Sag Harbor. Stop by for the full lunch or dinner experience. Bring your friends and share what’s at the table.

A very enjoyable hole in the wall with a very old school and welcoming feel.
We sat at the bar where our bartender was very helpful and attentive. We were immediately offered drinks and menus as well as explained the specials of the day.
All of the food was delicious, the drinks were cold, and we had great seats.
It’s not an uppity townie spot, it’s got a very local waterfront feel like you want to stop in for some beers after a long day of fishing.
If you want to avoid snobby tourists, this is your spot.
If you don’t want to be ripped off and pay tourist prices, this is your spot.
Definitely a fan.

Update 7/25/24:
We had a great late lunch today at the corner bar! This place is always a good stop for some delicious pub food.
I started with the French Onion soup which was perfect and sweet too! For lunch we ordered the pepper jack grilled cheese, the Rachel sandwich with sweet potatoe fries and the beer buttered c I’d fish n chips.
All dishes were perfect and delicious. I had the fish n chips which was recommended by our waiter Owen who to great care of us. The cod was so juicy and delicious in the fried beer batter!
Stop in for some delicious food!

Small local bar with good food. It was a chilly night and I stopped in for a bowl of chowder ($10) and a drink, which the server never came back to take my drink order. So all I had was a glass of water that was brought with my soup. I was unable to find the young man who took my order and brought my food when I was ready to pay and leave.

Loved this place. Has a locals feel yet updated and hip like you would find in your NYC neighborhood. Can’t beat their chili ..mmm! And oddly, I loved all the random stickers people put on the bathroom walls! Lol. Everyone signed the bricks on their walls, too! Great proximity to the water and located right in the heart of downtown Sag Harbor.

This was the best and most affordable find on our trip to the Hamptons. We had lunch here twice and both times everything was incredibly fresh. We had no issue getting a table either. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a casual spot to grab lunch. The chicken and tuna salad were both great. The prices are also beyond reasonable.

Small casual place to eat with great service and big, delicious hamburgers. We also ordered a lobster roll without the bun. Nice size portion of lobster with a good little side salad. They have seating outside because of covid which is good because eating inside is limited because of size. A hidden gem.

Casual eatery and bar with good burgers. It’s a great spot for beers and appetizers and usually has space for a party of 4-5 even on a weekend evening. One of the last truly local spots that has a long history in town, so we support it every time we visit.
