We love Billy Meadow’s hotdogs. The chili cheese dogs and slaw dogs are delicious. The price is great. They only accept cash but they have an ATM inside. The only downside is that they close at 3pm and my son wants them after school often but can’t have them unless I pick them up before he gets out.

I read a post on Facebook saying this is the home of the best hotdogs in NE Georgia. I must agree thst in the Athens area there is nothing better. The prices took me back to the 1990’s and the food was delicious. Jean, the owner, is super friendly and helpful. I felt like I was at a friend’s house having lunch. The decor just adds to the atmosphere. This is a place we will definitely visit again. Just know it is cash or Cash App only. They have an ATM inside if you need.

First time eating at Billy Meadow’s Station and oh my gosh these are the best hotdogs ever. Staff was extremely warm and welcoming, it felt like I was at a friends house. Highly recommend checking this spot out, we’ll definitely be back!

I just can’t believe hot dogs sell at $2.75 and more with a spoon of chili. It was 6 delicious bites. Not a kosher dog but a mix of meats. Can if Pepsi at $1.50.
I do commend them when I was told they don’t throw away anything.

Been wanting to stop here for some time and finally did today. The menu is simple, the food is average and the staff was very friendly. The hot dogs with chili, cheese and slaw were ok and the toasted bun was a nice touch. A little expensive for what it is.

Mr Bill Meadows created I think the best tasting hotdog anywhere on the planet. He started out as just her boss but by the time God call him home he was someone she would love and admire till she took her last breath. Mrs. Jean Hancock still tells story’s about Mr. Bill to this very day. She owns the Hotdog Stand now and it never missed a beat and nothing has changed. Not the dogs or anything inside the stand. Without Mr. Bill there is a bid void but I can bet he is locking down on and is smiling and beaming with pride knowing his legacy is still at big pillar of the Coty of Colbert.

Love this place! Great owners and food. This place is a iconic landmark. Yes , the menu is simple and some people complain that the prices are a bit high but this is small Town life. They have to make more of a profit then a bigger chain restaurant. I will gladly pay their prices and even more if they need it to keep a place like this open. Hope to visit again soon.
