We found this spot WAY TOO LATE! We’re moving to Texas and finding this gem so late in living on the Eastside might be our biggest regret! We’ve been 3X in as many weeks! Service is great. Wonderful lil bistro spot with a neighborhood vibe. Welcoming staff. Often a busy place, can get loud. Can also get warm, but it’s better than being too cold. Love their flavorful pizzas, seasonal specials, and good wines. Definitely a place to consider if your clock and your wallet allow.

Food was delicious. I’m not a lover of sophisticated cheeses, but their roast squash on a bed of whipped goat cheese was very good. Crust on the pizza was perfect and toppings were tasty. Personally really liked the speck pizza. Most importantly, the owner (Drew) brought immaculate vibes. Dude is super funny & charismatic. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customer’s experience.

Mercato is one of the best pizza spots in the Bellevue/Seattle area. The pizza is incredibly soft and light, and it doesn’t feel heavy at all — likely due to the high-hydration dough, which makes it easier to digest.
We tried the margherita and mushroom pizzas, and both were really enjoyable. Overall, it made for a great date-night experience. The restaurant itself is very small, probably around 10 tables, which gives it a cozy and intimate vibe.
Reservations are definitely recommended, so be sure to book ahead before you go.

Me and my husband’s go to date night spot. We have been going here for YEARS. While we were dating, we went here, our engagement dinner with family was here (Drew, the manager, helped plan with a family member to surprise us), and we still go here when we want a special atmosphere with stellar food. Drew is the best – he knows everyone by name and always makes us laugh and asks us how we are doing. This restaurant makes me feel like I’m going to the small town restaurant where I feel at home and know everyone. Please, if you have the chance, go here. Everything from appetizers and cocktails to salads, pizza or pasta, we have tried it all. EVERYTHING is amazing. You will not regret it!!

The Rigatoni Alla Vodka had the perfect al dente pasta texture, seasoning, and amount of sauce. I recommend getting some extra red pepper flakes to add to the dish for a little more kick! We got the speck pizza and loved the crust— thin enough but not too thin so it would be flimsy and get soggy, and the flavor was crispy + toasty but not burnt! The sweetness from the pears went so well with the savory speck and gorgonzola. We look forward to coming back and trying the other pastas and pizzas!

Mercato Stellina Pizzeria in Bellevue was a happy accident we’re so glad we stumbled upon. The pizza is absolutely incredible — the only small gripe is that we wished the crust had a bit more char for that extra flavor. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, exactly how it should be. Desserts were another highlight: the tiramisu felt like it came straight from Italy, and the ice cream affogato was stunning.
Service was top notch, friendly, and attentive. We’ll definitely be back again!
