We came to Mai Place Asian Bistro for dinner with a family of 11, and I definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time. The place was very crowded when we arrived, which shows how popular it is.
This was my first time dining here, and the food was fantastic with a wide variety of options to choose from. The portion sizes are big and clearly meant for sharing, which is perfect for a large group. My two favorite dishes were the grilled oysters and the fried eggs with oysters — both were delicious.
The servers were attentive and patient with our large group, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely return in the future.

I had such a wonderful experience here! The roasted pigeon was incredibly flavorful, the beef cubes were tender and juicy, and the stir-fried beef rice noodles were perfectly cooked with great wok aroma. Everything tasted fresh, and the food came out quickly. The service was friendly and attentive as well. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Really good flavor and good portion for the price! We got the take out this time and all the dishes were very tasty. I especially enjoyed the chicken and the eggplant dishes. The duck was really good when we got it, but does not microwave well on the next day – so finish the duck first! Will definitely come back.

Because I place and paid through online order. I will not rate for the service or atmosphere. The honey walnut shrimp didn’t have enough sauce to evenly coated the shrimp. I did also request for the shrimps to have extra sauce. Seems like the request was ignored. Barely tastes the sweetness. The texture was OK. Definitely not enough sauce there as you can see. The Mongolian beef was also ok. I prefer the sweeter version of Mongolian beef. This one is not the sweet version. The pork intestines were good. Overall, it’s OK. I am hesitant to place another order for something else.

One of my favorite Cantonese cuisine restaurants at eastside. It is a good gathering place with friends and family to share the dishes. They have fresh seafood with market place. I always order the steamed oysters with garlic source. In the end, complimentary dessert is served.
