Watkins Cafe in Nevada. Its a small little family feel cafe. Home cooked breakfast. My husband gets the chicken fried steak breakfast everytime. He says chicken fried steak is real not fake frozen patty. He says its good. I have gotten the breakfast big burrito before. I wasn’t very happy the first time I had it so I hesitated getting it the second time. I tried it anyways and this time it was so much better. The salsa tasted like onion and not much of anything else. So I asked for Cholula hot sauce. The big burrito was really good with the flavor of Cholula! At least try this place

Second time here and it feels even better. The food tastes like real home-style cooking, simple and done right. The staff is warm and welcoming, the kind of service that makes you feel looked after. The whole place has a cozy small-town vibe that makes you want to linger a bit. Prices are fair. If you want a comfortable spot with good food and good people, this place hits the mark.

Food was ok but when we got it, it was cold. Service was horrible. Went In Saturday and waitress was so stressed out. The two others were running around as the other one barked orders. She was very rude and to the other staff. She was not friendly for the atmosphere. Attitude definitely fit the look. Probably would not be back if she was there. Perks to the owners though. Had breakfast with my daughter here. It was seat yourself. Very friendly atmosphere. Sat ourselves and was helped quickly. The food was amazing and so are their prices!!!! New favorite place to go!!! Went on a Tuesday morning and it wasn’t too busy. I’m sure weekends are packed.

There were two ladies running the place that were friendly & fast.
Sunny side up eggs were overcooked.
Wrong type of bread used causing the French toast to feel flat not fluffy.

Not impressed Online menu says they have frito pie but NOPE..she said it was an old menu?? Well maybe, take it off the site! Friend got pinto beans and they were cooked to mush! And ham which we almost needed a magnifying glass to find on the plate.
I got a grilled cheese and half of it was burnt.

I was really excited to try this place today after seeing the great reviews.
It’s a really cute, cozy cafe and the staff was friendly. That’s why this place gets the 3 stars I’m giving.
It certainly wasn’t for the food. My bacon felt dry and old, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. It hurt my teeth to chew it, it was that hard and dry. The taste of the bacon was good, for what it’s worth. If it had been fresh instead of trying to break my teeth, I would have been really happy.
I thought the sausage patties tasted okay, but my husband didn’t like them at all, he says they tasted old to him.
They didn’t have any biscuits left so they gave me cold, barely buttered toast instead.
As a cook myself, I dislike pre packaged gravy, but as far as pre packaged gravy goes, theirs tasted better than expected and was warm and not lumpy.
The hash browns and eggs were good.
The price was really inexpensive too, and the bathroom was very clean, which I liked.
Would I come back here again? Maybe I’d give it another shot, but probably not.

Food is delicious – we got a mix of breakfast and lunch. All the food was great, a bit of a wait but usually when you have a wait a bit it’s because the food is amazing! Will be returning soon
