Delicious food, great prices, friendly staff and a sweet vibe make this a perfect lunch spot. Due to an unfortunate series of events, I found myself needing a quick lunch substitute and happened to stumble upon Hot Daugs. Will definitely be back every time I am in Manitowoc.

A little hole in the wall type place, but with a surprising amount of room. They have 2 tables inside and 3 or 4 really nice 4 seater patio tables outside. Loved the nostalgic feel of this place, was my favorite part! Currently they have a real 80s Ms. Pac-Man arcade/coin-op machine that takes one quarter, and a couple of table top style mini battery ones with a ton of retro games. My 5 year old loved watching me play Ms Pac, and he loved playing frog pond on the retro 50th anniversary Atari mini coin op.
My 2nd favorite part of the atmosphere was the record player!
The hot dogs were awesome and decent priced. We had the 8 Bit Bite Vienna style, and my 5 year old loved it. I had the natural casing Chicago dog and it was awesome!! I haven’t had a decent Chicago dog in a really long time!
I talked to the owner about options they are exploring with pickups and delivery, and hiccups along the way so far. For only being open about 2 months, they are killing it. I always love having super quick options that aren’t fast food (as I’m not a local, and travel a lot) and this was perfect. Just enough options that I got great food, not too much that I stood there for 5 minutes trying to decide. Yummy, efficient, fun, overall awesome place to stumble upon!
