DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
Would give this place zero stars if I could. I ordered online. On their system just wanting Fufu and egusi and a meat pie. Didn’t think anything of it because i like to support local restaurants snd was happy to give money to them. However, I thought it was weird that their delivery was $10. Proceeded anyway. Only to find out 45 mins later thay my driver got there and said they didnt have the order bc their system isnt set up or fufu. My driver said she hates working with them bc they always make you wait.
I asked for pounded yams as a substitute. They said they dont sell that there. Even though its on their website. They said theyd give me jolly rice for free too.
When my order finally arrived I didnt get my meat pie, ir the jolly rice..
Lastly food is not great. Beef and fish were dry. Everything had a weird taste. Waste of $38. Especially, because it shouldve only been like $25
Extremely disappointed.

This restaurant used to be small, but now they’re expanding—and the food has gotten even better! I’ve eaten fufu here before, and the quality has really upgraded. The prices are perfect, the food is amazing, and I’d love to keep coming back.
For anyone who loves African food, this is a Ghanaian restaurant and probably the best in the DMV area. It has quickly become one of my favorite spots.

Went to pick up the food but they closed 15 minutes early and charged us still (they were supposed to close at 9 and orders stop at 8:40). We even had called ahead to ask for recommendations right before ordering at around 7:50. I’m not sure why they would close when they had more order ready for pick up. We were not the only one there waiting for an order that we couldn’t get. I attached an image proof I took as we were leaving. We were really looking forward to trying their food. Hoping this was a one time mistake but this was not cool at all.

Great store and staff! Visited earlier to get someone some traditional Ghana food. The guy in the line in front of me was super nice and explained some food items to me like: corn mixed with peanut butter and ginger. If you don’t like ginger you probably won’t like some of the items. The wife wasn’t a fan. I thought it was delicious and much better than the lemonade we made at Deliver Lean; that was the most ginger thing I have ever had it burned to drink that stuff. Anyway, great staff, great food, smelled amazing!!! Wish I had tried more stuff cause the meats smelled amazing. Muslim friendly as it had a sign praising Allah. I’m a barefoot servant of Lord Jesus and know that The Holy Spirit watches over all the children of God Almighty no matter what name. Also, the cops posted outside made it feel more safe and secure. Wish I’d take more photos. The music was awesome!! Wife had to made me stop snapping

The food is amazing and very good for your money. They serve in large portions.
The tuo zaafi is great, the banku with tilapia (very well seasoned and grilled). The jollof is great even my Nigerian friends agreed Ghana jollof has won this round.
The koko and burkina are also great especially with the groundnut.
I really enjoyed the food and I plan on returning soon.

When calling feels like you’ve been Rush
The food is really good. Really good. The people’s personalities are completely different when in person they’re way nicer and the price is pretty good for the amount that you pay for and the quantity of the foot is a lot. You got your money worth

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE….I can’t believe me and my husband drove over 40 minutes and I called ahead of time to make sure they had cassava leaf and the woman said yes and the cassava leaf is not what they’re selling.. it’s runny like soup and very thin with no cassava leaves… It’s like they mixed it with some other leaf and it has no spice and barely any flavor.. We just went and grabbed food somewhere else.. We will never go there again!!! Do not waste your money!!!

My first time trying Tuo Zaafi but I was very impressed! The soup was delicious, spicier than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. There are a lot of unique dishes here that are hard to find anywhere else in the area, and I will be back to try more of it soon!

This is my second time having a bad experience from this restaurant the first time I did not order because I didn’t like the customer service from the main the main seem like they look down on women also I am a authority figure in my career so I go there with my uniform on I don’t think these men like that that’s just my personal opinion. However today I order food from here from Uber to pick up I ordered Joloff with goat they gave me beef. I even called so make sure that they had goats because I have allergic reactions to beef before they told me I did not pay for goats I said I paid online they said oh OK that time they could’ve just said you have to pay extra the app will not allow you to pay the difference you don’t just take it upon yourself to give me beef what type of establishment are you wanting I guess if it was a white person it would be OK but because they feel like I am poor like them they give me anything I am going to forever right post about this restaurant and take whatever precautions I need to have them shut down even the best that they gave me is very dry it out and obviously from the day before.

Worse of the worse, my last time ordering from here. I was excited to order, i invited my family over and it was a disaster. Food was old, was cold, dry, and looked like was cooked a week ago. Fufu was cold and soft(spoiled), and they lied to me that they had cassava leaves so I order it and they gave me some leaves with palm oil, which was raw and disgusting. I will never put my feet in this restaurant again. Disgusted
