So often wine is something of an afterthought to a Restaurant where, despite having a seemingly long list of wines, there is little thought behind it other than to have a range of types and prices. Ma Cuisine is the exception here, and in a fantastic way. Not only do they have a wide range of wine types and prices, but their understanding and research behind each is second to none. Talking to their staff and selecting your wine is an experience which is thrilling and creates excitement. Thankfully, the wines match that anticipation.
But what of the ambience of the restaurant and the food, as this is a restaurant and not a trendy wine bar. Well, the place itself is a very welcoming and well-styled, with plenty of character, making you feel relaxed and comfortable. Lighting is a combination of subdued lighting with selected spots at the tables, which creates a nice feeling of intimacy and privacy in what otherwise would be another open-plan restaurant. Each table has a combination of individual chairs or leather-clad soft seating spanning the side of the restaurant.

But we came to eat, and that is where you again will be smiling and taste buds jumping for joy. The only problem is what not to choose, as each dish is so wonderfully prepared and satisfying. The food has all the right characteristics, look, textures and taste. Each is not only expertly cooked but is equally well presented, with each dish being explained in a tantalizing way as it is placed on the table. We went for a shared approach so we could all experience the culinary delights that the kitchen so expertly prepared.
Staff are welcoming, helpful, very efficient and serve with a smile, understanding exactly what a customer is looking for and what level of discussion or discretion is required.
This is an experience to savor and not just another restaurant or meal that you will quickly forget. Oh no, this one you will remember and no doubt keep on your to-do list.
Ma Cuisine also cater for earlier eating under Bonjour Ma Cuisine that, having experienced what they do for evening dinner, I am eager to experience.

Amazing French food in Singapore with a great wine selection.

Atmosphere is matching what you find in very nice restaurant brasserie in France.

Made me feel being back home.

The waiter is very knowledgeable and friendly

I love the cheese pasta here. Simple and full of cheese flavouring and yet not over powering. The Kata toast was also crispy in the outside and soft and moist inside. Love it. The French fries/wedges were also crispy and soft inside. Came here for brunch but felt that the menu is lacking in some ways. This place seems more of a lunch place then a brunch place.

The experience was solely provided by our wonderful sommelier. He recommended good wines and did not try to sell whatever most expensive but it paired well with food.

The ambiance was rustic, semi bistro, semi cellar. It was artistic and warm. We enjoyed it especially when the restaurant was quiet that evening so we could have conversation without yelling and some degree of privacy.

The food was good. But for the experience we had I would come again. It was a great meet up place or for a date.

Had lunch at Ma Cuisine and really enjoyed the experience. Service was excellent — George and his colleague looked after us attentively and added to the overall warmth of the meal.

The food was very good across the board, with thoughtful preparation and quality ingredients.

The setting has a polished, French bistro feel that makes it an inviting place to spend an afternoon.

Absolutely enjoyed the tour of the wine cellar midway through our meal when George realised we were interested!

The food was all very good and flavourful! Fluffy crispy croissant and creamy scrambled eggs! And love the croque madame truffle and dipping the croissant in the hot chocolate!

Tripled cooked fries were crispy to perfection too!

Staff were attentive and constantly filled our cups.

The place was so tastefully done up! Like an art piece.

This spot has limited seating, and because it’s quite popular, there’s a bit of pressure to finish quickly and make room for the next guests. You might even sense a gentle nudge to wrap up your meal and leave.

The food itself is simple but well-executed, with clean, satisfying flavors. To feel full, you’d probably need to order at least two to three small plates per person, so it’s not exactly the place for a hearty, filling meal.

That said, the presentation is lovely—the dishes are served in beautiful bowls and plates, which adds a nice touch and lifts the overall dining experience. It feels more like a spot for light bites, dessert, or a quick tea break, rather than a place to linger and relax like a traditional café. Just keep in mind that lingering too long might not be so welcome here.

Charming restaurant with an impressive wine list and exquisite French food worthy of its Michelin star accolades. All the times I’ve visited, food, wines and service were impeccable. Many of the dishes were outstanding – the pissaladiere, the scallops, lamb… the pigeon dish was the best I’ve had. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined. It’s a must-visit for authentic French food in Singapore.

Amazing breakfast at Ma Cuisine. Started with great service by George and the food was tasty. Love dipping the croissant in the thick hot chocolate, croque madame truffle was delicious, scrambled eggs were creamy and the fries were crispy even after an hour. Would definitely be back!
