But what of the ambience of the restaurant and the food, as this is a restaurant and not a trendy wine bar. Well, the place itself is a very welcoming and well-styled, with plenty of character, making you feel relaxed and comfortable. Lighting is a combination of subdued lighting with selected spots at the tables, which creates a nice feeling of intimacy and privacy in what otherwise would be another open-plan restaurant. Each table has a combination of individual chairs or leather-clad soft seating spanning the side of the restaurant. But we came to eat, and that is where you again will be smiling and taste buds jumping for joy. The only problem is what not to choose, as each dish is so wonderfully prepared and satisfying. The food has all the right characteristics, look, textures and taste. Each is not only expertly cooked but is equally well presented, with each dish being explained in a tantalizing way as it is placed on the table. We went for a shared approach so we could all experience the culinary delights that the kitchen so expertly prepared.
Staff are welcoming, helpful, very efficient and serve with a smile, understanding exactly what a customer is looking for and what level of discussion or discretion is required.
This is an experience to savor and not just another restaurant or meal that you will quickly forget. Oh no, this one you will remember and no doubt keep on your to-do list.
Ma Cuisine also cater for earlier eating under Bonjour Ma Cuisine that, having experienced what they do for evening dinner, I am eager to experience.
Amazing French food in Singapore with a great wine selection.
Atmosphere is matching what you find in very nice restaurant brasserie in France.
Made me feel being back home.
The waiter is very knowledgeable and friendly
The ambiance was rustic, semi bistro, semi cellar. It was artistic and warm. We enjoyed it especially when the restaurant was quiet that evening so we could have conversation without yelling and some degree of privacy.
The food was good. But for the experience we had I would come again. It was a great meet up place or for a date.
The food was very good across the board, with thoughtful preparation and quality ingredients.
The setting has a polished, French bistro feel that makes it an inviting place to spend an afternoon.
The food was all very good and flavourful! Fluffy crispy croissant and creamy scrambled eggs! And love the croque madame truffle and dipping the croissant in the hot chocolate!
Tripled cooked fries were crispy to perfection too!
Staff were attentive and constantly filled our cups.
The place was so tastefully done up! Like an art piece.
The food itself is simple but well-executed, with clean, satisfying flavors. To feel full, you’d probably need to order at least two to three small plates per person, so it’s not exactly the place for a hearty, filling meal.
That said, the presentation is lovely—the dishes are served in beautiful bowls and plates, which adds a nice touch and lifts the overall dining experience. It feels more like a spot for light bites, dessert, or a quick tea break, rather than a place to linger and relax like a traditional café. Just keep in mind that lingering too long might not be so welcome here.
