Rosebud Steakhouse in Southlake, Texas absolutely exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we sat down, it was clear this place takes pride in quality, hospitality, and doing things the right way. The food was outstanding across the board, and the portions were incredibly generous — so generous, in fact, that we happily left with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later, which is always a win when the food is this good.
The filet was the true star of the evening. It was unbelievably tender, cooked perfectly, and packed with rich, mouthwatering flavor in every bite. The appetizers set the tone early, offering bold flavors and excellent presentation, and the drinks were just as impressive — well-balanced, smooth, and clearly crafted by people who know what they’re doing. Everything we ordered felt thoughtful, indulgent, and worth savoring.
What truly elevated the experience, though, was the exceptional service. The bartenders were friendly, engaging, and made us feel welcome right away. Our waiter, Mike, did an outstanding job — attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great night. The manager, Scott, went above and beyond in a way that really stood out. When my cousin started feeling sick and had to leave early, Scott personally packaged up a complimentary dessert and sent it home with her so she wouldn’t miss out. That level of care and thoughtfulness speaks volumes about the culture at Rosebud Steakhouse.
I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant — the food, the service, and the overall experience were all top-tier. Rosebud Steakhouse has earned a loyal customer, and I will absolutely be back.

Tonight was my birthday and we dined super late and the service was still phenomenal! Our server was Mike, he was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Didn’t mind repeat questions and gave his honest feedback on menu items and provided us distinct flavor profiles on the options too. Our bartender was Zoey, amazing drinks!! Pack a punch but not too heavy on the bitter flavor. Our busser Brandon didn’t rush us- the place looks well kept and neat. Not a crumb in sight. Lastly, the manager Genario (hopefully that’s correct)- stopped and checked on us ample times. 10/10 service and food, as a steak connoisseur you will not make a mistake dining here. We will be back!

Absolutely AMAZING new restaurant in Southlake!
My boyfriend and I eat out every single night, and this spot instantly became one of our new favorites. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the service is incredible, and the food… unreal. Every single thing we ordered was a 10/10!
We tried the jumbo shrimp cocktail, the crab cake, the dry-aged short rib sandwich, the broiled sea bass, the corn off the cob, the spicy broccolini, and the butter cake — even the bread was amazing. Literally not one miss!
The GM, Scott, came to our table to introduce himself, he is super friendly and cool, and our waiter Max was just as awesome — attentive, fun, and on top of everything.

We went to Rosebud Steakhouse for a birthday celebration and we had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly attentive. We tried the 8oz filet, New York strip, crispy brussel sprouts, grilled asparagus, and the mash potato. All the steaks were cooked perfectly and paired nicely with the Brandi peppercorn sauce. The sides were delicious!! Definitely recommend checking it out.

The service is great, but they ran out of the pistachio liquor for one of the drinks that I wanted. I got the daily special sea bass Oscar which was delicious, especially if you want something lighter than steak. My husband got the Delmonico, and it was delightful. I think the mashed potatoes were very average and a bit on the dry side. We got the herb butter to eat with the mashed potatoes, which ended up making up for what the potatoes were lacking. The butter was $5-6 though just FYI. The end of the meal was perfect with the butter cake – highly recommend this finale!

We all ordered something different to try for different flavors; and it was all amazing! Such splendid mixtures, from the specialty appetizer to the steaks and chicken parmesan, followed by the home made butter cake and three layer chocolate cake.

We walked up to a gorgeous outside of Rosebud Steak. Got seated on Christmas day. Our reservations were for 3:00 Our water glasses had to be sent back because of being dirty, no one said anything to us about that. Waited about 10 minutes for our wine, beer and mixed drink. Bread service didn’t come out until we had been there 40 min. We got apps of meatballs and hamburger sliders which were very good. Salad, steak and salmon was also good. But the service was slow, and many waiters, servers standing around talking to each other The whole time we were there. Needs better management for sure.
I don’t want to put up more pictures of waiters standing around but it wasn’t good.
For spending almost $400.00 for three of us, service was very lacking. But food was very good. We will give Rosebud one more try at Happy Hour.

First time at this establishment. Sat at the bar and Zoey was attending the bar. She was fantastic. Very attentive and informative on specials and recommendations. Patrons at the bar recommended basil Hayden smoked and it wasn’t smoking correctly and I didnt care but Zoey had to make sure it was perfect. I got the 14 Oz filet medium rare asparagus and it was cooked to perfection. Janario was manager on duty very friendly especially since I was underdressed headed to work. I had an exceptional experience here and highly recommend. Monday night dinner Rush wasn’t so busy I couldn’t get in but I imagine weekends are packed. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my night. Will be back

I went to Rosebud Steakhouse Southlake and it was amazing! The signature cocktail menu is five star, top shelf bartenders too. Everyone working there – just wonderful. I was alone & ordered the wedge salad with skirt steak. That skirt steak might as well have been prime ribeye, no steak knife was needed and all that is with it (especially the cubed bacon) is so good. Everyone was so nice and professional, great atmosphere, great food and drink, just a wonderful place. Definitely go! Fine place.

Tory and Scott were amazing warm, attentive, and made the whole night feel effortless.
The Brussels sprouts were insanely good (crispy, flavorful, addictive), and the steak oysters were next-level. Perfectly cooked, rich, and indulgent in the best way.
We paired everything with a Bordeaux, which was excellent and tied the whole meal together beautifully. Between the food, the wine, and the service, this was a flawless experience.
