Genuinely the best sandwich I have ever put on my taste buds. Place was very nice with a little bit of a 60’s vibe. Carrot cake tasted amazing. Strangely there were a lot of seats in the room but no happy customers to fill up the seats. It would truly be a shame if such a location went out of business. Please come here!!!!

Came by on our way back from North California. Great sandwich spot. They have cold and warm sandwiches with chicken, roast beef among others. Great food and great value. The sandwiches with sprouts were great. Great customer service as well. Will come again when we head to San Frans.

What a fun atmosphere- completely unexpected in a deli. My companion loved his sandwich and said his soup was great. My salad was fine, nothing special. If the beets had been roasted (cut off tops and bottoms, seal in foil with a few drops of water, bake 400 til soft 30 to 60 min, cool, peel) instead of boiled the salad could have been quite good. Boiled beets don’t have much flavor.

I moved to Aptos 49 years ago, and Eric’s Deli was a happy surprise. Close by, excellent salads and sandwiches, super soups, and genuinely friendly service. Low key seating and no obnoxious noise. No alcohol. It’s still here, now with multiple locations, but the quality hasn’t suffered from time. Congratulations to the real Eric!

Ordered a sandwich and salad. The sandwich was good ingredients are fresh. The main problem was both of my sandwich and salad we’re missing quite a few ingredients I had requested. I chose to make my own sandwich with ingredients I had chosen but certain ingredients I requested we’re not on my sandwich. After getting the receipts sure enough they were on there but not on my sandwich. The salad was good but half the ingredients listed were missing as well. I went and a busy time so I will give them the benefit of the doubt staff was friendly and I will try one more time.
