If you love coffee and find yourself in Troy, NC, then you must stop off at the Uwharrie Mercantile! They have a wide variety of specialty coffees and various other drinks to choose from. Try the Pecan Latte or Uwharrie Sunrise. These two drinks will not disappoint. The service is always great and whether you have a cold brew, latte, frappe, or chai tea, you will not go wrong. We’ve also had lunch there a few times and the food is very good. If you are looking for a sweet treat, there is a wide selection to choose from; from cheesecake to cookies. Throughout the shop you will find historical memorabilia from days gone by in Troy, and goods for sale from local artisans and vendors. There are some really unique items that we’ve purchased to decorate our home as well as give as gifts. You will also be able to find (no pun intended) some unique Bigfoot items.

Wow, this place is not only huge but a time capsule in the past. So many cozy spots to sip a delicious coffee at. I could spend eternity here! Don’t forget to grab a fried apple fritter made by Karen’s famous fried pies. Sandwhiches and pasta salad were a hit too! This place truly is magical, and they even have a vintage play area for the littles! This is a very special place to have in our little county. Makes me proud to be from montgomery county

I got the Pistachio latte (I love anything pistachio) and the wife got a pumpkin spice chai (?) and we split an apple fritter.
The pistachio coffee was a great choice especially for the cooler weather
The apple fritter was loaded with apples which was a nice surprise. Usually anywhere else it’s a miracle to have even a trace of an apple lol
The pumpkin coffee was great. Definitely a step above any other pumpkin flavored coffee I have tried including starbucks.
The store was a nice throwback to somewhere I would have visited in Connecticut. It’s very rustic and charming. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the seasonal menu

This is a wonderful coffee shop and mercantile. This used to be the local drug store and they left a number of original interior elements. The floor and ceiling are Awesome!
I had a thin mint coffee and it was delicious. The staff was very helpful with making a decision and continued to smile with my indecisiveness. They have a number of tables and seating areas. There s re s number of baked goods you can choose from if you want a snack. There are a number of products for sale. Some hand made items as well. There is a single toilet bathroom available. Parking is on the street.

I love coming to this wonderful, locally owned coffee shop in the little town Troy. The service is amazing and the coffee is delicious. This was the first Saturday I got to do the coffee flights and we tried two different flights of coffee and nothing disappointed! There was three of us and each of us had something enjoyable. This was a great experience and we encourage you to come try them out on a Saturday! You will not be disappointed
