This place has seriously gone downhill. New owners don’t seem to care and are riding on the coattails of the previous reputation. If this was a new business they wouldn’t last six months. Got the same thing I’ve gotten the last ten years. Barely any sauce. Barely any meat. Completely forgot the wine, oil, and Parmesan. The tomatoes were from the butt end of the fruit and barely edible. The people that bought it are a joke and clearly have no love for the business. Everything is just thrown together and shoved out. Last time I went it was under the new ownership but the previous owner was in making the sandwiches. The last good meal I’ll ever have here because I’m not coming back. Fantastic job ruining one of Carson City’s best hidden food gems.

Place has gone downhill tremendously since the new owners took over. Paid $4.25 for an order of fries only to receive 8 cold fries and they looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for more. Didn’t get the fries until 20 minutes later when I was leaving. Customer service is horrible and the food has gone up in price and down in quality. Used to love going here but I won’t ever go back.

This place reminds me of the old sub shops, with basic cold cuts on a soft, white roll. Not the fanciest of meats, but solid and reasonably priced.
What sets them apart is the toppings. My god, do they put a lot. And they are good. I went with the 12″ Abyss and the sandwich was huge. Weighed a ton too.
They also have a grill and fryer, so you can go the hamburger and fries route too. When I was there they seemed understaffed, maybe someone called in, so there was a wait. But that may have been outlier.

$12 dollar bacon burger. We ordered two of them. My son didn’t want me to say anything to the people at the counter, but dang. This is also after leaving a tip. This used to be a special spot for my son and I, and now I won’t go back. The prices are higher for worse tasting food. I’m guessing the need to recoup the cost of the Reno. Idk.

The food here is always on point. The owner is a very friendly guy that knows how to make a sandwich right. We go every time we are in town and they’re open. There is a sign in the window stating they’re closed Sundays and Mondays now due to lack of help staff. I hope they stay in business. I’ve been patronizing this Mom n Pop place for 20 years and hope to keep going for a long time still. My kids really like this place to. My daughter got her husband hooked on the torpedo. She loves the philly. I’ve never had a sandwich here I didn’t like.

First time in today. Got the hot pastrami sandwich, which happens to be my favorite. Let me tell you, this sandwich was amazing. The pastrami was lean and cooked perfectly and the topping were not held back. Definitely can’t wait to try more of the menu in the future. Kudos guys doing a wonderful job.

This was the best and biggest sub I’ve had in a long time! We used to eat here alot and then the owner sold it. The next owners served the most skimpy sandwich I have ever had. So we didn’t go back for a good year or more. Kept hearing their advertising on the radio and decided to give them another try. OMG it was unbelievably good. I wish I knew how to post a picture. It was loaded with so much meat, the bread was soft and tasty. This will now be our favorite sandwich shop again! Thank you.
