Food: cheese pupusa, lomo saltado. Pupusa was good, but the red sauce and cabbage were flavorless. The lomo saltado was delicious, not overly salty, meat was very tender.
Service: excellent, but I was the only sit-down customer in the place. Servers, two, had friendly demeanors. They greeted me in Spanish, but switched to English when they realized I don’t speak the language.
Atmosphere: plain. Dine in area seemed to be clean. Had 2 TVs, not blaring. Minimalist decor. Good enough for me. Go for the food, not ambiance.

Hands down the best restaurant and best food I’ve had in a restaurant in a year. This place is simple, clean in its setting but the food is outstanding and delicious. Do yourself a favor and try the food, made fresh and hot while you wait in Rivera ‘s Restaurant. They have a variety of dishes and flavors on the menu. It was difficult to make a selection. Everything I ordered was phenomenal. Lomo saltado mixto with red beans and rice was so flavorful! Tamales de elote were sweet and yummy. I was surprised to find atole available and had hot and sweet atole de elote. And super happy with the fried yucca! Prices were fair and portions were generous! Staff was so friendly, professional, and kind! I will definitely be returning and trying more dishes.

Simple, delicious food. Might be a small joint but well worth your visit.
They have a large variety on the menu and I had a hard time selecting as they were all tempting.
We ordered the ceviche, lomo saltado. grilled fish/shrimp, and the lengua tacos.
All were great, the lengua tacos were the best I’ve had since I was out west.
Portions are generous.
Staff was very attentive, will visit again.

I love this place. The service was lovely and their drink selection is perfect. The food was very delicious too, I got the fried rice with chicken and steak and I left very happy and full. I recommend this spot and to come extra hungry!

The restaurant is small, but clean. The staff was nice. My steak was extremely thin, and didn’t have a lot of seasoning, so it was okay. My husband got the lomo saltado and the steak in that was much better!

A gem in the Springfield area. Delicious take on some stapel Hispanic dishes that will satisfy some of your cravings. We’ve gone here twice in the past week and I’m sure we’ll visit again soon. Location is easy to find and there’s plenty of seating. Staff is friendly and very attentive. The portions were much larger than I expected and we ordered way too much food, so there were some delicious leftovers. The steak tacos were awesomely seasoned, yuca fries with pork chunks were gone quickly because they were made just right. A large portion of sliced plantains we’re enough for three people to share and they also have plantains with beans, rice and sour cream. The second trip we got the fajita style steak and it had a great flavor, not your typical steak flavor. This is a great little restaurant that will impress you with quick and friendly service.

The food I had was just alright. The wingettes were small and although they came with fries, I was still hungry after I finished (this cost me $11.65 after tax). They also only had hot wings so no flavored sauces or anything. The salad was not very appealing either and I ended up just throwing it away.

As a traumatized Peruvian that can only eat at his parents house or peru, this is the only place I don’t feel screwed over when spending my money on a lomo saltado. They couldn’t get it anymore right and the beans are a nice touch. Also they don’t skimp out on hot sauce and yellow sauce like all the other places do.
