I originally went to try the coconut balls and dumplings however they only had two dumplings and were out of the balls. I landed on the oxtails and jerk chicken platters. The jerk chicken was delicious as you can taste the charcoal from the grill, the rice and peas are actually rice and beans and they were good as well. The plantains were good and they ran out of white rice.
The oxtails were expensive of course however not worth it due to the amount of fat verses meat. They also weren’t seasoned enough for me however they were eatable. Not something I would purchase again especially in this economy every dollar has to be worth spending.
The jerk chicken was worth purchasing more so I went back to get only chicken and was told it was still going to be $17 without sides. So I went ahead and got more rice and plantains. Did not like the feeling of being forced to purchase food I did not desire to have.
That may be the only part besides them not having what I want that will have me try somewhere else. An item should not cost the same without the extra food that usually comes with it.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the brown stew with peas, rice, and cabbage lunch special, and the portion was perfect. The flavors were incredible—especially the rice, which tasted like it was cooked in coconut milk, adding to the authenticity of the meal. I also tried their beef patties, and they were just as tasty. I’m officially hooked and can’t wait to come back and explore more from the menu!

It was my first time eating here and the staff were great and very friendly. The issue of course was the oxtail only came in on size which was disappointing but still obliged, then they wasn’t sure of how much jerk chicken was available for a large or small. I ordered and waited and all seemed to be good, got home and opened my oxtail and it was pretty minimal in meat and I also asked for extra gravy which definitely didn’t have it, flavor was lacking and in whole meal. My husband had the Jerk chicken and if it was a large it didn’t seem like it, he also said that wasn’t much flavor with his food either, was excited to try this place but for the money I spent not sure if I’ll be returning

I’ve had both the jerk chicken and the oxtails, and each time, the food has been spot on. Tender, seasoned perfectly, and served with that signature Jamaican hospitality.

First time there read the reviews decided to give them a try. I ordered the curry goat it was very well seasoned n very authentic also ordered the jerk chicken. The jerk was ok im just not fond of wet jerk chicken n would have preferred it be been cooked on the grill not oven. Overall good service good prices and good food

This is a mediocre review. On several visits, I ordered different dishes, a beef patty w/coco bread; jerk chicken peas & rice; and curry chicken peas & rice. The staff was polite and pleasant. Outside plenty of parking. Inside the restaurant was a little dated, with plenty of seating. The food, reasonably priced, portions were good, however the overall taste for the Jerk chicken dish, curry chicken dish to me was just a bit off. I have tasted worst, and I have experienced better. My coco bread was stale and hard. The patty just was ok. I will consider visiting them again, in a pinch.

I stopped as I saw the flag and realized it was a Jamaican restaurant. I ordered rice and peas with cabbage and plantains. Delicious. Also had coconut drops and dumpling. This meal was amazing and very flavorful.Highly recommend this place

So I’m no novice to the flavors of West Indian food (Haitian here) – so i expected a lot out of this spot.
The dumplings were literally the best dumplings I’ve had in a while, talk about deliciousness in a ball. So that was great.
The rice was okay, nothing to write home about. The cabbage wasn’t as seasoned , if any. But it was doable when eaten with everything else.
But the chicken , it was good (curry chicken) but it had all these tiny bones i had to keep picking out.
Really frustrating to eat , but i finished it anyhow.
I now go here for only the dumplings, i promise they’re just that bomb.
