Server was very kind, and super friendly! The food was good, fresh! Plates were big as expected lol. Horchata had great taste! We went right at opening 10am. We will be returning!

Decided to try Cielo Azul out for lunch today and we had a nice meal and would be more than happy to return! My husband, nephew, and I enjoyed everything we ordered, and our server was very sweet and helpful. I’m sure patience from customers would be appreciated as they have gone through changes from the previous restaurant, but our visit here personally was great. Thank you for a yummy lunch! Wishing you guys a great future, we will be returning 🙂

Empty atmosphere for a Sunday at noon. No one else around…… The restaurant is pretty but it needs a bit more updates. It’s a bit pricey! A soda will cost you $4.95. And a carne sada burrito was small for the price of $18. We are a family of 4 at it came out to about $25 per person. That’s that I had 1 beer. The food did not have much flavor. Sad, but we won’t be returning.

Cielo Azul in Chino Hills is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm, friendly service and the smell of authentic Mexican flavors coming from the kitchen. Every dish is fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor — you can really taste the quality in every bite.

The tacos and enchiladas were outstanding, and their house salsas had the perfect balance of heat and flavor. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting — perfect for family dinners or a casual night out.

If you’re searching in Chino Hills for delicious Mexican food, great service, and a place you’ll want to come back to again and again, Cielo Azul is it. Highly recommend! ✨

Where do I start.. 1st ordered an iced tea that didn’t have 1 piece of ice in it.. No biggie ordered a glass of ice.. Put our order in… 2 tacos and shrimp fajitas… 45 minutes later they bring me a plate with rice, beans , guacamole etc for fajitas… chips have been gone no refill..tea and water empty for over 30 minutes.. 15 minutes later my fajitas come out, now that my rice and beans are cold… No tortillas???… what kind would you like??? I said flour like I ordered…after 10 minutes with no tortillas I for the 1st time in my LIFE got up and left.. Mind you there were less than 20 patrons with 5 workers.. So sad.. They need customers so bad but cant service the ones that actually come in.. Def will be ANOTHER FAILED attempt in this building.. I cannot rate the food as we left… also because the couple who arrived 40 minutes AFTER us were already eating as well.. Good Luck guys. I would NEVER go back!!!

Really yummy cheese enchiladas with red sauce. Great albondigas. Rice and beans pretty good. However I really was not a fan of the hard shell chicken taco. Small, not a lot of cheese, and the consistency of the chicken seemed like it was from a can.

Food has gone downhill since changing ownership. I got the carne asada plate and the steak was bland and the cut of meat was cheap.

Tortillas and salsa were good, waitress was very friendly.

Unfortunately the food was mid at best.

I had the steak picado and found it to taste authentic…and I’m a Mexican! They had karaoke on a Friday during happy hour. At first I said it’s too loud, then I really enjoyed myself.

Really loved the chips and salsa! The carne asada burrito was delicious, the meat was tender and the sauce was good. The churro sundae and fried ice cream were super yummy also. I would have preferred it with a chocolate drizzle over caramel, but that’s only because I like chocolate more.

The customer service was excellent! The place was a little dated with ripped booths, but definitely has a lot of seating. I give the restroom a 2 out of 5 because of the strong mildew smell.
