Been really curious and thrilled to come here to taste the Filipino-Latin American food given my cultural background. However, it was not was I was expecting.
I ordered liempo and along with the description it says “sizzling pork belly”. False advertisement, it was not sizzling. It came with “Spanish” yellow rice and salad. Rice was also not my type. I’d say it was more of a Greek rice than a Spanish one. The pork was juicy yet tastleless.
We also ordered Siopao which also didn’t match the description.
Server was good and attentive though.
Overall, I was just not satisfied with my food expectation here after the hype. Definitely did not live and taste how it tasted back home.

The food is fantastic. We’ve tried all the burritos and they’re all delicious. The chips aren’t salty!! (Huge plus for me) Maduros are soft and sweet. Tostones are nice and crispy. The staff is super friendly. They really take their time making quality food. I absolutely loveeee it here. Would highly recommend.

This place never disappoints! The portions are amazing, you definitely get your money’s worth every time. Everything is always fresh and filling. On top of that, Angel at the front counter is seriously the best. He was kind, patient, and super helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend

A Delicious Experience La Mesa!
If you’re looking for an elevated take on Central American cuisine, look no further than La Mesa. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a stylish yet comfortable vibe. The food was absolutely spectacular. Every dish was a delightful combination of bold flavors and expertly crafted ingredients. The ribs were true highlight – perfectly balanced and bursting with authenticity. And all the side dishes are a hit! Make sure to try the guac; very fresh! You can tell a lot of care went into each plate, and it really shows in the presentation and taste. The service was impeccable too. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, taking the time to explain the menu. Will be returning soon!!

One long table that seats about 12 and 1 small table that seats 2 in the dining area. Counter service. The chicken adobo, ribs and salmon were my favorites. Food was amazing. Loved the halo halo. Extremely reasonably priced for the amount of food you get.

Out for lunch with my son at La Mesa, we loved to eat there since they have variety of flavors, we loved pork sisig and pansit with lechon. The staff are friendly with customers. The dining area is clean and the atmosphere is very chill. The price are reasonable and for sure will eat again soon at La Mesa.

Some of the food was delicious but cold. My daughter dish came with 2 meats so she ordered chicken adobo and pernil over rice and pico de gallo hers came from the hot plate behind the counter. My husband ordered the salmon bite platter which came with sweet plantain, rice, beans and pico de gallo. My order was freshly made so it was hot. I ordered the Filipino dish with deep fried pork belly, over garlic fried rice, and also comes with 2 fried eggs and pico de gallo. All food was delicious but the service of fresh food order was extremely slow. People were coming in and were told 15-20 minute wait for the food to be served. I would go again but with the mind set that it will be slow. Also note they have variety of flavors in this little quaint restaurant from filipino,to Colombian, to Honduran just go and explore.

We decided to try La Mesa on a whim. What a delightful surprise. It was our first time trying Filipino food. The pork ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender and flavorful. As was the chicken.
There is a wonderful assortment of sides. We highly recommend La Mesa for a different experience and exceptional food.

This place has a large selection of food. Sometimes that can make me wary – like a diver. However, EVERYTHING they make is delicious and made to order (unless you order from the piping hot trays they have got you to see, cafeteria style).
I ordered the pupusas ranchero and it was HUGE and delicious. Stringy, gooey cheese mixed with beans and smothered with two sunnyside up eggs. My partner got the shrimp burrito. He’s had other shrimp dishes here before and he says they are always fresh and tasty.
We also had an appetizer of chicken bites that was all white meat, freshly made, and in the tastiest sauce with just the right amount of kick. I wish we lived closer!

WOW, we were passing by and finally had a chance to pop into La Mesa! Always love a steam table! A very beautiful place, spotlessly clean, super owners and great food: fusion or combo Philipino and South American flavors. Great dishes and salads, also many pickled salads ready to serve. See photos!
