I wanted to like this truck but unfortunately the food wasn’t up to par. Decided to try the “famous” lobster dog and the pork tacos. The lobster dog was pretty bland and the sauce they put on top was sweet. The pork tacos were soggy and very salty.

We really wanted to love this place but both the pork taco and the lobster dog were not worth it, but we were so hungry we ate it anyway. taco was soggy bc there was a lot of pork juice not drained, it was put on a tortilla straight out the bag not heated up so got soggy really fast. The lobster dog we were excited for but it was dense and also when I bit into it, it was just pieces of artificial crab?? Like the crab sticks you get in a Cali roll… in which case that markup is crazy for not having lobster in it. I was really disappointed in that. Happy we tried it finally but won’t be back.

Amazing! Delicious and generous amount of food for a reasonable price. Fast and friendly service… fun and memorable location. We had the waffle hotdog, shrimp tacos and garlic shrimp plate. All very scrumptious!

I loved it here! Best Food! They made it for me! I was so in love with Chef Kale! Comparing Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck with Chef kale don’t waste your time at Giovanni’s.. Chef Kale all the way! Super nice people! I will come back! The flavors on the plate! Wow!

Just don’t order the seafood boil and kalua pork plates!!!
The shrimp and clam are not fresh and are tasteless. The corn also has no flavor or taste to it. Kalua pork was extremely salty. The portion is not much considered the fact that the plates are mostly filled up by salad and rice.
Not sure if we just ordered the wrong thing but it was not a great experience for us.

The lobster dog was great, lots of meat for the price. But the CHURRO was to die for. Get the pineapple flavor, you won’t regret it. Will be thinking about it long after we leave the island.

My husband and I both stopped in for the lobster dog. We both loved it and thought it was delicious! The lovely lady working there was so nice as well! Would definitely recommend going if you’re in the area!
