For over 15 years, Good Mansion Wines has offered a huge selection of wines from around the world that you won’t find elsewhere. In addition to 2000 wines in stock, Good Mansion Wines has a charcuterie counter and bakery that makes fresh baked breads and pastries each day and a collection of groceries imported directly from Italy. Plus, a classically trained French patissier who creates incredible desserts to go along with the food and wine. Come in for lunch daily 11 AM to 2 PM when we feature sandwiches made on our house-made baguettes along with quiche and soup. Ask our friendly and knowledgeable staff for recommendations on wines and cheeses or just stop in to enjoy the Victorian surroundings!

You must stop and check this place out! The cutest old mansion that has been turned into a one-stop shop for imported cheeses, meats, wines, pantry goods, freshly baked items, and delicious Italian coffee.
We asked for a charcuterie board and ordered espressos and sat in the front room watching the rain through the big windows. It was such a lovely visit. If I lived in Wheeling I would be here at least one a week . . . but honestly probably much more

This is a world-class establishment in Wheeling and we are lucky to have such an amazing place here.
I can’t put into words how delicious everything tastes and how wonderful the selection is here. I wish I could eat their homemade pastries every day. Any time I want to splurge (I’m watching my weight), I get something here because it is worth every calorie.
My SIL, BIL and niece came to visit at Thanksgiving, live in MD and are a train ride into DC. My BIL said they have nothing like this in their area and had such a fun time shopping. They reported back that they loved everything they purchased.
I’ve done a fair amount of traveling and I’m so very grateful that we have this wonderful establishment to enjoy.

Great Italian style bakery/ deli/ winery! The place is adorable and very well stocked with so many delicious looking items, so much more then wines! Perfect place to find Christmas gifts for your foodie friends! I purchased a few almond croissants and I’ve been thinking about them ever since! Check this place out for real!

Before our trip to Wheeling yesterday, I did a quick Google search to find a bakery and saw a listing for Good Mansion Wines. It sounded cool, so we added it as a stop for our visit. Imagine my surprise when we pulled up and there was a literal red carpet stretched out from the building! The inside of the house (yes, it’s inside a house) is exquisite, very classy and inviting. When you first walk in, you’re greeted immediately with a very large wine selection. If you keep moving toward the back of the building, you’ll find an amazing cheese selection. They also sell condiments & jarred/tinned items like jams, jellies, peppers, anchovies, mustards, etc. Beyond that, a small yet might bakery offers delicious desserts, homemade bread (that they use to make sandwiches) and fresh pasta. There are numerous imported items also available for purchase. Good Mansion Wines is an absolute must as a place to stop if you’re visiting Wheeling. We will definitely be back!

This place was a gorgeous gem! They have actual French chef’s and the food reflects this fact. There literally isn’t anything I wouldn’t recommend. Good Mansion Wines not only has a massive selection of great wines, but an amazing grocery, deli, and bakery selection. If you go any where in Wheeling, go here.

If you are traveling on 70 between Columbus and Pittsburgh, do yourself a favor and four minutes from the interstate you will find The Good Mansion. Step into this beautiful mansion, and you are also stepping into the best of Italy and France! The service is fantastic, they love to help you choose the perfect bottle of wine or pastry, and the sandwiches, pasta, and gift baskets are unlike anything you would find in the biggest of cities! During Covid, I used to order their special wine and charcuterie box for my son. Bon appétit!

Wheeling is one of the most subtly beautiful places. I was born here and love returning to spend time with family. Wine is also a passion of mine. Good Mansion Wines combines the two in perfect fashion. The shop itself is a treasure. I don’t think I have ever bought wine in a prettier place. This of course makes the browsing and ambience incredible. The selection is terrific – real care and intentional curation were taken in the varieties you’ll find here. Echézeaux Gand Cru next to Côtes du Rhônes (my most recent visit had me purchasing a great bottle of Chateau de Saint Cosme “Les Deux Albion” which was great (and a great value)), a great selection of Barolos and other treasures of Piemonte, and Italy in general, and just a tremendous and well-selected variety. I could peruse and hang out here for a very long time. I like how they have their wine organized, separating Old World from New, but since the old house is so wonderful to wander through you get to experience different and wonderful rooms full of shelves of some great wine. I truly think this place a real treasure. When you are in this wonderful city, make sure Good Mansion Wines is one of your stops.
