Warning. There is a sign touting cold AC. There is in fact no AC. If it’s important enough to showcase on your sign I would expect more emphasis on the conditioned air. Service is as expected in a dive bar with no conditioning of air, a little grumpy but serviceable. The patron wearing a scarf must have been feeling the poor conditioning of air as he was quite grumpy. I think moods would be improved with cooler air and more smiles.

We are in town for a conference and wanted to hit up a good dive bar and found this place. The pictures you see from other visitors, some are old because this place recently moved. It seems to have lost some of its original luster in that change.

No food here except the occasional food truck. Great dive bar atmosphere and drinks.

Our experience was disappointing. I contacted the bar about three weeks in advance to let them know a group would be stopping by during a Santa Crawl and provided a specific arrival time. I followed up again a few days before the event and was told they could accommodate the group. When we arrived, it appeared the bartenders working that night were not aware of our visit. Several people in our group said their drinks were awful. Based on this experience, we plan to remove this location from our rotation next year.

Any establishment that allows the public to enter into their building needs to have a public phone number listed.

I have needed to contact this bar twice this week. Once for a missing cellphone and again to settled my tab where I was overcharged $20.

The only way I can speak with anyone is to physically go into the bar and I do not live anywhere close to it.

Management/Owners if you can establish a phone line for basic customer needs I would love to delete this review and I hate that I even have to leave this but again….. how do I get ahold of you?

Had such a great time at this bar on Christmas Eve. My family was very thankful for this place to be open since we were only here for the night for our road trip back home. The environment was very fun and the bartenders were very friendly. The cost for our drinks as well was also extremely reasonable.

This place was actually recommended to me by a bartender at a different bar. She was spot on. Amazing laid back atmosphere, quick service, and decent pricing. I’ll be making a visit any time I’m in the area for the night.

One of my new favorite bars in Louisville. The drinks are amazing and it’s not over priced. We had a great time drinking and dancing. Also they have a pop up kitchen space that serves great food. I wi definitely have to add this place to my repeat places.

Located a little bit off the usual bourbon walk and restaurants in Louisville, we headed to High Horse to finish the evening and attempt to secure the “Soused” badge after already doing some liver damage tonight.

This is definitely a Dive Bar and it wears its label proudly. The scarred tables and slightly grubby floor add to the charm. That said, the men’s room was clean. This was a fun time and while it wasn’t busy on a Monday evening, the service was good and the few other patrons were similarly laid back.

We had a round of drinks, did our check in and boom! Soused!
