What a great place to eat!!! We were directed here by a local business as having great food. We were not disappointed! Friendly staff, clean dining room, and clean restrooms. My husband had the ribeye, fries, and garlic green beans. The steak was cooked perfectly, the fries (he likes his done) and garlic green beans were delicious. I had the chicken parmesan with garlic bread and it was the best I’ve had. We really enjoyed our visit.

We met a couple on a hike at Beartown State Park and they recommended Dean’s Den. We went to Dean’s for dinner and had an amazing waiter, Matt, and enjoyed a tomato basil soup and chickpea/goat cheese salad and chicken marsala. We also ordered the blue crab dip with chips and it was great! Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and we overall had a great experience.

Friend of mine sent me a screenshot of the Bahn Mi nachos special and I knew I had to try those. I went and got them the next day. Had not been to this location but have always loved the Frost location. This location is much larger. These were a great interpretation of the sandwich in nacho form. I LOVED them. So inventive! Marlinton continues to impress me!

I usually enjoy eating at Deans Den but this experience was horrid to say the least. I ordered the cod with cream spinach sauce and after 15 minutes the waitress comes out and says they don’t have any of the cream spinach but that I could take the cod another way which I declined because the sauce is what makes that dish. So then I decided to order chicken pharm. The waitress brought out the dish and the chicken was burnt and black on the bottom, there was a small amount of pasta in comparison to the sauce. I sent it back. So then by this time I’d been there a minute so I just ordered a burger because I figured whoever was cooking wouldn’t be able to mess that up. Which the bacon burger I ordered was fine. The waitress was very nice and apologetic about the food, she was attentive to my table so I left her a nice tip. Dean used to cook here and while I don’t expect him to be here all the time, he should be able to train competent people. They were also out of a lot of things. Not sure why these things weren’t ordered in anticipation of a busy Saturday evening.

I ordered the steakhouse burger and it was the best burger I’ve ever had. It had the most flavor of any sandwich I’ve ever ate, the fries are good too. The homemade peanut butter pie was to die for. I will definitely go back again.

We’ve been to Dean’s Den at least half a dozen since he opened in Marlinton. Every time we’ve been impressed with the quality and variety of the meals. The basics were excellent; the burgers were great and the steak and cheese was one of the best I’ve ever had. The international dishes were amazing. The General Tso’s chicken is better and fresher than I get at my local Chinese restaurant. The salads are fresh and have great flavor.

When in Marlinton this is a diamond in the rough. The food is great and made with love from Chef Samson! Restaurant is clean and cozy. Please when there ask for Larissa! Her service is amazing! If you want plain service she’s not the one! She is such a character and takes great care of you! We were at many other places here and were disappointed with the food until we came here! Highly recommend going! Steak and cheese is amazing!

Best medium rare steak, garlic red potatoes, & asparagus I can remember having recently. Side salad was great. The sweet tea was just right. About $28 plus tip. Worth the trip.

First time here. Was told it’s under new ownership, but who knows? First impression was I’m gonna love this. Super neat, very simple, open and bright, felt squeeky clean. Missus had coconut shrimp and chocolate cake. I had pastrami & Swiss on rye and the ¾ of my missus’ chocolate cake. The only drawback was that, like most places today, the staff gets hammered by online or phoned in orders, and the place fills up fast on a Sunday — a local favorite! We are patient, and we made our stop over in good time. We’ll be back!

Me and my wife got food from here Togo today, I ordered the burger and she ordered the Alfredo. When we arrived home to eat are meal I took a bite of my burger to find out find out it was raw very under cooked and my wife’s Alfredo was runny not creamy at all and we both tried it and agreed it was bland and did not taste well at all and on top of that the noodles was undercooked , very depressing because it’s not hard to cook a burger or pasta. I do not recommend this restaurant the food is bad and the customer service is also terrible.
