I visited Sichuan House with a couple friends. I’ve been to other Chinese restaurants in the area, and this was my first time here. The person taking our orders gave solid recommendations. I appreciate that he wanted to ensure we were satisfied with our orders. Though, if you have your heart set on a more traditional authentic dish and the waiter doesn’t think you’ll like it, expect some pushback and an attempt to redirect your attention towards better options.
The food was excellent and portions reasonable. My wonton soup was exactly as I expected – delicious and flavored nicely. My friend who preferred more American Chinese food devoured the beef and broccoli. The mapodofu ordered ended up not being vegetarian like expected. Flavor was great; I liked it, though my vegetarian friend who ordered it wasn’t especially pleased. That mistake though was likely due to miscommunication when ordering on our end from not confirming that it would be the vegetarian version. Nonetheless, they did like the rest of the dish.
The atmosphere was nice. Fairly quiet, and good for conversation. Service was also nice. Would visit again.

This dish was absolutely delicious! The shrimp were tender and juicy, perfectly stir-fried with fresh, crisp vegetables in a flavorful savory sauce. Every bite was vibrant and well-balanced. You can really taste the freshness and quality. Definitely a must-order and one of my favorite dishes!

These chili oil wontons are absolutely delicious! The wrappers are silky and tender, filled with juicy, flavorful meat. The rich red oil adds a perfect balance of heat and aroma, while the garlic and scallions elevate every bite. Bold, authentic, and incredibly satisfying—definitely a must-order for spice lovers!

This is my first review for this year, my husband saw a post on Facebook about this restaurant and he took me to celebrate my birthday, and I have to say that I love it!. I would definitely come back, and I recommend you to listen the suggestions of the waitress, he’s an awesome person reader or a least he was for us,because we ordered what he suggested and both of us had a great impression on the selected food, he were checking on us periodically and we had a great time. Kudos to you for the amazing food and great service.

I ordered takeout here tonight for the first time and unfortunately it will likely be my last. I ordered hot and sour soup and SINGAPORE noodles with shrimp. The noodles were good but I was given an extremely tiny portion. It was a main dish and it was ridiculously small. Most Chinese restaurants serve portions easily double in size of what I received at sichuan house. It was a laughable amount of food even for just 1 person. Wish they weren’t so stingy because the food wasn’t bad. Very disappointing. The staff I encountered were friendly.

the black pepper chicken was surprisingly good, it was crispy and kind of sweet. i also got the shrimp fried rice, which was pretty standard. both had great flavor and decent portions, but were too oily
