Hit or miss really. Husband went tonight to order 4 cheesesteaks. Specifically asked for no cheese on one but it included cheese anyway. Meat doesn’t seem fresh as it’s oily and flat looking (like it was mashed perhaps to get the grease out? Idk). Meat didn’t melt the cheese on any of them and fries are lukewarm and oily. It’s already 8:17 and my husband just came home with the food so we can’t call them to try to correct the issue. Also, there’s no mayo or anything on the sandwiches. Just meat veggies and unmelted cheese. Highly disappointed, honestly.
First pic shows the flatness & oily meat, second is the unmelted cheese (if it was properly melted it wouldn’t look like a slice of cheese just thrown on it, third is the oily cold fries). Sadly after reading several replies from the mgr (I’m assuming) Im shocked and also feel like I have to clearly describe what’s shown in the photos.
Definitely won’t return because how you handle your customers in comments is really a reflection of who you are as a person and the type of business you run.

This is hands down the best Philly I’ve ever had in my entire Texan life! I thought I knew what a Philly was until the owner gave me a quick lesson—and let me know hoagie bread is not the real deal! The service was top-tier: friendly, fast, and welcoming. We’re already planning our next visit for another delicious meal.

Best Philly around by far and my don searches high and low for them! We took the owner’s tip and ordered it with cheese whiz. Amazing! The fries were crispy! We also had a kid’s order of chicken tenders and those were awesome – crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. We saw others eating the burgers and they were huge and looked great! We will definitely be back!

Glad to see the owners are back in business at Philly Dave’s. We loved going to their old place Burger & Philly Shack. Apparently retirement didn’t stick. I missed their hamburger seasoning and all angus beef patties. At first bite my wife & I said it’s just like we remembered. Our go to hamburger shop. The photo is the small hamburger basket with sweet potato fries. It fills me up.

Stopped here on accident while headed to slim chickens next door. GREAT CHOICE!!!! Restaurant was clean and the owner was super friendly! This is definitely a hidden gem. Food was cooked to order and was probably the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve had in my life. I almost turned around and went back for another one. I will definitely be back!!!!!!!!

I love me some of the legendary Philly Dave’s Philly Cheesesteaks. Better than anything we had in Philadelphia because of the care and preparation Dave holds to high standards. First off, Dave is hilarious and part of the charm of the entire joint. The food is made to order and my wife and I go nuts for it! Get the Philly Dave’s with extra wiz! You’ll love the generous amounts with the onion rings or fries! More pics to come!

I’ve visited the old location several times this new location blows it away! Cowboy western decor and an expanded menu from breakfast to dinner plenty of options.The wife ordered the Shrimp basket w/fries (they were out of the sweet potatoe fries) and I came for the namesake Philly I went with the provolone over the cheese whiz this time the bread (Amoroso) I’m not familiar with anywhere else goes perfect with the shaved ribeye both apparently brought in front Philadelphia ( that’s cool) I had the 10″ with fries definitely one of the best in the area. Everything was cook when ordered and served with a smile and kindness. A good meal with friendly folks almost gives it a home feel most people that came in knew the staff by name.Dining area only had a few people eating but they were kicking out the to go orders also. We’ll definitely be back the breakfast menu has many options and my favorite biscuits & sausage gravy . 4.5 stars

Dave And Charlotte and his amazing staff has done a fantastic job with this Restaurant. The Food is top notch, high quality food and amazing cook (West). The Best Catfish, tender, fresh and full of flavor. The Best Philly in 100 miles. Dave uses Rib Eye Steak and the freshest ingredients. Everyone needs to be patient with the process and staff.

My husband loves Philly cheesesteaks but hasn’t been able to find a good one for years. I stumbled upon reviews for this place and decided to take a chance. So glad we did! He said it was perfect and is already figuring out when we can come back. The burger, fries and onion rings were all good too. Staff was friendly and the place clean with a good atmosphere.
