It was packed on a Friday night and the to go business was hopping, to the point where our eat in pizza took more than an hour for them to prepare. The hostess apologized profusely for the delay, but it’s a super popular place and if we’d gotten slices it would have taken mere minutes.

But it was worth the wait. Our Godfather was delicious, piping hot, and perfect in every way. So much variety of texture and flavors, balanced on a beautifully structured dough with that characteristic chew of a New York slice. They were quick to give us our salad after we ordered, but their enormous backlog of online ordered to-go pizzas really delayed things for the dining room. Just keep that in mind if you eat in on a busy night.

It’s still worth doing.

Updating my review on October 10: tonight’s pizza didn’t have enough toppings. It wasn’t their best pizza. Whoever made ours should be doing something else and not making pizzas. When I pay what these pizzas cost at $4 per topping, I expect to get my money’s worth. Also , inconsistent quality kills a place. Easily the best Pizza in Boulder county. You can stack it against any Pizza in Denver. Truly New York style. Beautiful dough and crust. Zero flop. Extensive menu. 3 types of white pie. Fresh ingredients. Crafted with skill. They earn their Google ratings and then some. We are lucky to have Antonio’s in Longmont.

Pizza was just ok. I’d never been before and when we walked in I wasn’t sure how their system worked. Do you seat yourself, do go directly to the counter? No greeting to give any sort of direction. So we seated ourselves and there was a qr code at the table to order but it doesnt work because the napkins box covers up part of the code. Anyhoo, I ordered the Sicilian with pepperoni. $4 extra for pepperoni and there were a total of 16 very tiny button sized pepperoni pieces on this 12″x12″ pizza. It was very disappointing to see such a sparse amount of toppings. The other pizza order had plenty of toppings on it so I’m not sure why the difference. I took mine home to add more topping and cheese because there wasn’t much cheese either. I’d try it again but not the Sicilian just for the lack of toppings. The crust had descent flavor and wasn’t overly greasy like most other Sicilian or pan pizzas. The sauce has good flavor as well.

I will do my best to adequately describe how special this pizza is. It is best pizza in the state of Colorado and it’s not close. I’ve eaten all of the highest rated pies all through New York and Connecticut and this could hold its own up against the best of New York.
You can literally taste that distinct NY water in this dough – and that, as many know, is a huge deal and separates the boys from the men in pizza. The rest of the ingredients are exceptional as well and you’ll know it with just one bite or even just from looking at the pie with your own eyes.
I was lucky enough to meet Antonio today which motivated me to finally write this review. He’s the real deal. Great guy who clearly takes pride in putting out the best pizza in the state.
I have to drive over an hour from lone tree to get this and I do it regularly without hesitation.
Thank you Antonio for blessing us with this pizza

While visiting Longmont, Colorado I found my way to Antonio’s Real New York Pizza. I had noticed the pizza business while visiting Colorado Dumplings directly across the street the night before. I decided I needed to visit Antonio’s and I am very glad I did.
The restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly and the PIZZA yes, it was so good. The crust is fantastic! I always say if a Pizzeria can’t make a good cheese pizza then they shouldn’t be making pizza…well Antonio’s cheese pizza is fabulous so I imagine the other pizza offerings are delicious too!!! I might make another stop to enjoy another slice!

We ordered the Detroit-style pizza, and honestly it just wasn’t for us. The dough was extremely thick and dense, more like something you’d expect with breadsticks or cheese bread. There also wasn’t much cheese, even though the cheese that was there tasted good. The sauce didn’t have much flavor and reminded us of a basic pasta sauce, and the parts of the pizza that had sauce on them turned pretty soggy.

Overall the pizza was pretty greasy and left us feeling kind of gross afterward. It reminded us of something you’d get from Domino’s or another average pizza chain. The price was cheap, so we weren’t expecting anything amazing, but we still wouldn’t go back. We actually ended up throwing away about half of it because it just didn’t sit well.

Usually this place is busy but good. Came in on a slow day and it was a miss. Only two other customers were there. Another customer interrupted while I was ordering, cashier started helping them during my transaction. Ordered two slices of pizza and two cookies. Typically the slices are big but these were so small that it surprised me. Slices are usually hot and melty cheese, these were at best lukewarm. The cookies I got are subpar. One of them was crushed and the other was dated to having been made an over month ago. They gave me a new one when I saw the crushed one and asked for a replacement but didn’t see the made by dates until I got home. The one from over a month ago was stale and inedible. Was disappointed this time around by the service and lack of good food.

Went to support Antonio’s as they are supporting those who need food assistance in this time of the government shutdown (Nov 2025). The pizza was delicious and the garlic knots are divine!! The people who work there were all fantastic and made us feel very welcomed. If you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend it!!

So extremely disappointed. Came here (2pm Thursday 4/17/25 for a special NY lunch treat on our 38th Wedding Anniversary. The pizzas were sitting hard and cold in an unheated display case. Looked old and not very appetizing. So I settled on this Sicilian Italian tri colored one. The nice person working here warmed up (first time) in a small oven warmer (not a pizza oven) and served it to me literally cold. That’s ricotta in this pic. Ya know, soft, fresh, creamy ricotta…..NOT!!! Hard cold old gross! Not sure why it’s not white. Sitting too long I guess. If I wanted to warm up my left over black jack pizza for lunch today, I’d would have stay home and did a better warm up job. Even the cheese wasn’t melted, sauce still cold. So I asked the person to warm it up some more and they warmed me up a new piece that was just as inedible. 2 strikes. Won’t ever come here again. Left both pieces and took my $4.40 loss. Why you doing this to your customers? Warming up cold, sitting pizza??? (Not very good either.) There’s a point where it just needs to be tossed and make a new one for your paying customers. Geez take the loss to save your reputation and quality. Please don’t delete or not publish my review.

Cute place. We love to try different italian and pizza spots. Took about 30 minutes for us to get there. Nice variety of pizza. Very friendly staff. A little pricey. My pizza was a bit bland. Needed some type of seasoning to the sauce maybe. They do have very yummy garlic knots though.
