Great family owned restaurant! I love the green posole and burrito enchilada style!

Great authentic Mexican restaurant. “Street Tacos” were amazing. Chicken enchiladas were delicious. Prices seemed a bit high and decore is very basic. Kids meals were about $9 and most menu items were $15-$22. Street tacos are available individually. We accidentally showed up just before closing and they were very accommodating and didn’t rush us at all.

The food was absolutely delicious! I had Pinole Tortillas stuffed with pork. My husband ordered asada beef burrito that had it own zip, he said that it tasted good too. We will be going back.
Update: On June 12, 2022 my husband and I went back to Jarochos for lunch. They did it again, the special was so tasty! I had the Tlatonile which is a type of Molé sauce made from sesame and pumpkin seeds. It was a savory sauce with a light touch of heat, it was so delicious! It is my favorite restaurant, they never disappoint!!

We stopped here on a whim. I had the carne asada tacos, and we shared the fried plantain. Absolutely stellar food. Friendly staff. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated. The plants are healthy and clearly well loved. A truly fantastic place to eat.

Absolutely incredible joint with good food, good prices, and a very friendly atmosphere.
Jarocho’s Restaurant is one of the hidden gems of truly authentic cuisine, with a comfortable home atmosphere that invites you in and offers you to join the family. Anytime I visit I feel like I’m eating with an aunt and cousins, but the food is far away from what you’d consider for a family gathering; Everything at Jarocho’s is stunningly delicious and with food that looks just as good as it tastes.
A personal favorite of mine is an order of meat and cheese empanadas, the cheese in particular comes out so good every time it looks like a pizza from an early 90’s cartoon, just absolutely tantalizing.
There’s a lot of love and passion put into the food here at these folks deserve the business, I’m happy to visit any time I can.

Craving authentic Veracruz Mexican food? Go here. And then order the special. Tonight’s Friday special (Tacos de cochinita pibil) looked unassuming at first, but wow it was hands down some of the best authentic Mexican I’ve had in a while. Those habanero pickled onions made the perfect topping! We will definitely be back.
The kids liked the empanadas, but I’d probably not get cotija on it again for the kids since the cheese has a bit of a strong flavor. Oh and I wish the seats were more comfortable. But I will still come back for the yummy food!!

This was a sponsored event so the food was laid out for us. I couldn’t find the taquito or the pastry item on the menu but they do serve the tamales and tacos on the regular menu. The taco was a carne asada and was the very edge of too spicy for me but very flavorful. The tortilla was well made and the fillings inside perfectly complimented each other. Overall, a very tasty bite! The tamale was a chicken with green tomatillo in it and it was definitely too spicy so I asked for sour cream which helped tone it down to almost tolerable levels. The masa mixture was perfect and really housed the ingredients well. If you are spice averse like me, definitely ask for the ingredients inside or get something to kill the heat a little. The taquito was a perfect, crunchy, creamy treat that I super enjoyed. Everything complimented everything else and is definitely a try again. The final thing was the pastry dessert. It was crunchy with a little cinnamon on top. The only downside was that the pastry outdid the filling.

Tacos al Pastor were amazing. We ordered 6 tacos and a side of rice and beans, all for $12.50. More than worth it. The tortillas tasted homemade and the al Pastor was perfectly flavored. Can’t wait to get another round! (This pic was taken after we downed our first two tacos)

Cute little place. Spotty service but very good food. The more I have authentic Mexican, the more I realize I prefer New Mexican, but I like this place and would like to try more of their options, including desserts.
Parking lot is pretty bad.
