We preordered from My Thai while on the train, since the Amtrak stop in San Luis Obispo is only about 20 minutes, not enough time to dine in. The restaurant is less than a block from the station, which makes it perfect for quick pickup.
We placed the order through DoorDash (they’re also on Uber Eats) and called ahead to let them know we were on the train so they could have it ready. When we arrived, everything was waiting for us, hot, neatly packed, and delicious. We tried the Sampler, Wonton Soup, Pad Thai Chicken, Thai Fried Rice Shrimp, and Simply Veggie Soup. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and authentic.
Tip: Perfect for Amtrak passengers. Order ahead on DoorDash, Uber Eats, or by phone, then pick up during the stop and enjoy your meal on board.

We don’t live in SLO but this is a staple every time we are there. I’m always nervous about the spice level at Thai restaurants with my kiddos and my kids love this place. They love the orange chicken and the Pad Woo Sen(glass noodles & chicken). The appetizers are great. Love the Buddha rolls and the Gyoza dumplings. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.

Small hidden gem nearest the Amtrak station of San Louis Obispo. The food is delicious and comes in big portions. The staff are friendly and have fast service . My train was delayed so I went for a 2pm lunch. I had the following:
– Chicken skewers with peanut sauce
The chicken was ok. The peanut sauce made it better.
2) Mango with coconut sticky rice
I always order this dessert in Thai restaurants, but this place had it as its best! The mangos and berries were cold and fresh and the sticky rice was hot and creamy must try.
Despite they close from 3-5 they let me stay until my train time. It’s also worth to mention that they have a wide clean bathroom.

This was so good! We were travelers, both me and my fiancé absolutely love the food we got. The spices they used are just right and balanced, making it very interesting. And their homemade chili sauce/oil are very interesting and good. I got lunch Tom Yum noodle soup, he got yellow curry, both very good
