Lots of tasty-sounding options to choose from. I ended up getting the Japanese curry chicken karaage. I really liked the curry sauce: it was thick and flavorful and tasted basically exactly how I thought it should! The chicken was disappointing though… although nice and hot, it was extremely fatty which made it very off-putting to eat. The outside was also not as crispy as I would expect for karaage. Cute food court area though

All I can day is that the food is terrible. Without exaggeration, this is THE worst tonkatsu curry plate that I have had. The pork was tough. The curry bland and watered down. The rice… how can you screw that up?!… was mushy and pastey. The miso ramen wasn’t much better. The ramen was overcooked and soft. The dashi was a little on the salty side, but at least the miso taste came through.

Not exaggerating when I say I won’t eat here again. Maybe they had a new cook today, but I’m not coming back to find out.

I like the food at Natsuboshi but service was subpart. I ordered steak bowl combo and sukiyaki a la carte. The lady gave my friend sukiyaki bowl, miso soup and gyoza first. When asked about the beef bowl, she kept saying that was the whole order. I had to bring the food tray back to the counter to show her. It took her a couple of minutes to figure out there was something missing.

I’m bias. Steak was done well considering food hall setting. Nothing demanding 5 stars but it was good for the price. Nice and clean food hall.

Great quality, but a little pricey beyond the basic options.
The large spicy miso plus butter was an excellent choice. For Hawaii, I give this a firm 5/5. If this were Japan, I would give it a 4/5 due to the weird assortment of undercooked vegetables and price.
The soup was exceptional, especially with butter. The spiciness was not overbearing and the miso was well balanced. The chashu had excellent flavor and above average texture, but lacked severely in amount. Noodles were good, with no complaints to be had with texture or length of cooking.

Ordered the spicy miso ramen with a side of gyoza. Amazing portion and the spice level was great. Having lived in Japan, it’s very important to season and salt the ramen broth precisely which makes the ramen experience, they hit the mark here. Noodles were cooked just right and was clearly made to order. Although traditional steamed style gyoza would have been better, the deep fried ones weren’t too bad. Not giving a full 5 stars because like other folks have commented, the price is a bit high. All in all, you will leave satisfied. Great staff also!

Ordered the Tonkatsu rice bowl with an extra side of steamed rice. The chicken was really good. Overall the dish had a great balance of flavors and rice was well made. Would recommend and visit again. So yummy I forgot to take a photo of the dish.

Had the Shoyu Ramen to go. Packaged nicely and quick service. Lady was no-nonsense and lacked a smile but didn’t care as long as food was good. Prices a little high but tasted good.

Ordered a Ramen. The pork and soft boiled egg were freezing cold after waiting 20 minutes being the only couple at the restaurant. It would have taken 30 seconds to reheat pre-prepped ingredients. Not to mention $44 for 2 ramens

Hokkaido Ramen Natsuboshi is situated within a food court, which gives it a spacious feel. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow during my visit, and the food was just okay, not the best I’ve had. If you’re looking for a quick meal, I’d recommend exploring other dining options in the area. On a positive note, I appreciated the promotional displays, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere.
