Tried this place based on all of the great reviews. My chicken lomein was so mushy, I’ve not experienced that anywhere ever. Fiance didnt like his general tso, said it wasnt traditional. Rangoons and kids sweet & sour chicken were good. It looks like a full service restaurant but it wasn’t. They have a sign posted that due to staff shortage march of an unknown year you must order at the counter. It looks run down inside with covers over the booth seating. I do like to have noodles and duck sauce when I eat at a Chinese restaurant but since no service, we didnt get any of those. The staff was nice but the whole experience left a lot to be desired for a 4.7* rated restaurant

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve eaten at, and I’ve had plenty of Chinese food in my life. It’s a family run, mom and pop restaurant. With that, you get the quality of a home cooked meal by any standard.
If you haven’t tried their home made dumplings, you are missing out. Additionally, they have their own homemade fried chicken, if you aren’t feeling Chinese and want something more southern. Can’t wait to try their Hawaiian shaved ice this summer.

When my girlfriend and I are feeling lazy and don’t want to cook when we’re at home having a game or movie night we always get a Pu Pu Platter a beef lo mein and a beef fried rice. It’s always ready when we get there
and tastes great every time. This place has definitely become a staple for us since it’s also right down the road!

I’ve been on the hunt for a good place for Thai Pineapple fried rice, so I’ve been wanting to try this location for awhile. Struck out on the fried rice , so My Daughter and I ordered takeout from here for lunch, and were quite surprised. The food was reasonably priced, and was very good. We also enjoyed the shaved Hawaiian Ice, my daughter ordered a snowball, and I ordered a Thai coffee Hawaiian Ice which was absolutely delicious!!! Don’t let the appearance steer you away, give it a try. I know I will definitely be coming back.

UPDATE: Still consistently excellent, and who would guess in Craley. River folks love the place.
Food and service were wonderful. The orange beef was our favorite very well done and the Szechuan green beans also were a hit. The restaurant is BYOB and they are happy to provide anything you need.

We have dined here a half dozen times. A nice small town restaurant with seating for about 30 people. The food is a mix of Thi and Chinese with an ice cream shop on the other half of the property. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I have yet to have a dish I did not enjoy. Tonight we had Crab Rangoon, Garlic Chicken, and Kung Pao Delight.

First time getting food here, drove 15 minutes each way on my lunch break, just to get back to work to open my food and the chicken looks old and dry. I have never tasted a general tsos with the flavor this chicken has. I unfortunately cannot leave work again to drive back so I wasted $20. Very disappointing considering the great reviews are why I drove so far for food on my lunch break to begin with. I will eat the rice and throw the chicken out.
Edit: I cannot even eat the rice. It is so dry and has the same taste as the sauce of the chicken. The only edible thing was the fortune cookie and the egg roll. Extremely upset as my total was $18
