FOKO is one of my GO TO breakfast spots in Louisville. The service is friendly, the food is always fresh and good and the vibes are always sweet. Although I’ve tried many things on the menu I tend to stick with the same breakfast order- Sopes with scrambled eggs and real cheese, a Cortado with oat milk, and a Juego de Amor. It’s simple, not too much food so I don’t leave feeling sluggish. It really is a perfect start to my day. If you haven’t been yet, go. You won’t regret it.

Another spot you have to try if you’re visiting Louisville. When I read the reviews and saw they had Chilaquiles for breakfast, I knew I had to come. The Chilaquiles aren’t traditional, but they’re really good. I’ll definitely be back 🙂

Life changing breakfast tacos. As a Californian, I was dubious of Mexican food in Kentucky, but this did not disappoint. The homemade tortillas were excellent. I was wickedly hungover and got a mimosa and coffee to ease my pain. Don’t skip Foko!

If you’re searching for a fantastic Mexican breakfast spot that opens early, look no further! Having spent two weeks in Mexico ordering chilaquiles almost daily, I can honestly say I was more impressed with today’s chilaquiles than any I had there – truly outstanding! We also tried a mole dish, which featured a delightfully sweet mole. The atmosphere is amazing, with lots of great art to admire. Highly recommend!

Just touched down in Louisville, and wanted something local. This place is hands down one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. Biscuits and gravy meal, breakfast tacos, tres leches and strawberry pancakes. 10/10, no notes. Flat whites are awesome too. Really nice people too! Really cute place. Thanks for making the start of our trip strong.

Menu also features some healthier options which I appreciate very much. The Silly Bowl is best in class!
I find the (hot) latte perfectly balanced.
Two dining areas: one small and cozy, the other large and artsy. Plenty of seating.
ℹ️ Parking: free lot is small, but plenty of overflow (adjacent paid lot or free street parking if you can walk a very short distance).

Great find! The breakfast tacos were delicious and filling. The Bowl has such rich flavors you can’t stop eating even when you’re full. Coffee was hot, smooth, and served by a lovely waiter. Nice morning vibe. Will definitely be back!
