I can’t say it was a terrible dining experience, but certainly not the best. They were pretty much out of everything we wanted so my buddy and I both ordered spicy chicken burritos with fries and a drink. I mean it was good, and well prepared, but they were really skimpy on the fries, like hardly any. I mean I don’t expect half of Idaho, but $50 for 2 burrito meals I thought there would be more.
I also noticed that there is almost 0 interaction with the staff, you order and pay with a kiosks then wait. I tried saying hello to the two people behind the counter. The cook just grunted at me then gave me a very dirty look, the lady behind the counter just looked at me like I was a homeless person and walked away. I mean I don’t expect much, but when I say “hello, how are you?” A little bit of common courtesy would be nice. Also, when our food was ready they didn’t call our number, they just set the food on the counter and expected the patrons to figure out who’s order it was.
Again, the food was decent and I would have overlooked the small fry portion if the staff weren’t possibly the rudest people I’ve met in a while. I liked the food, but the staff is what will keep me from returning.

The chicken tenders are amazing close to Canes Chicken but with their own twist. The toast and fries and be crispier and the toast should be changed up instead of it being a slice of loaf. The piece of bread, gets soaked with the sauce or heat of the fries and chicken and kind of lets down the experience. But other than that this is my 2nd visit and the chicken is on point. Fries and piece of bread needs an upgrade or change or an option to change sides instead. Redmond location review here!

Impressed, a real yummy perfectly cooked hot or not sauced with Cole slaw on the sandwich and the special sauce. So GOOD‼️ grilled cheese with (add on chicken strip). I got the Crimson Coward Slider, going back today for the real sandwich! Beats Jollie Bees Chicken hand down better.

Stopped in during work for lunch after being suggested. The service is swift and convenient eliminating the cashier role and using a very simplistic kiosk system. Simply touch swipe and wait for your order to be made, all of which is cooked out in the open and seemly from scratch. The photos below show the home crimson, chicken and waffles, & and tenders combo. They show quantity is favorable to fill you up and the prep was relatively fast, maybe a 10 minute wait. You can also order in the road and have it waiting. They have a heat system from nothing to hot. I’m sensitive to heat so I went with mild and think I could def go higher if that helps at all. Check’em out!

The food is fantastic, but our orders have been inconsistent. Sometimes, there’s more chicken, sometimes less, and sometimes we get sauce, sometimes we don’t. I’m not sure why this happens so frequently.
The atmosphere and seating are average. The chairs and tables are standard, and there’s a radio station playing the same pop songs on repeat.
Out of all the dishes, the snash burger is their best option. It’s always consistent and absolutely delicious!

Disappointed and Concerned – Not Returning
We visited Crimson Chicken with a party of 15, including several kids, expecting a fun and flavorful meal. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but.
We specifically ordered light spice chicken sandwiches for the children, but what arrived was shockingly spicy. The flavor was unmistakably hot, not mild. When we raised the concern, the service lady—who was on the heavier side—was dismissive and rude. Instead of listening, she argued and made us feel unwelcome.
The worst part: my daughter suffered from diarrhea for two days after we returned home. Whether it was the spice level or food handling, it left us deeply concerned.
We won’t be coming back. A restaurant should take customer feedback seriously, especially when it involves children’s health. Crimson Chicken failed us on both service and safety.

Most juicy chicken in the east-side! Love the fried onion too! The wait could be long because everything is freshly prepared upon ordering so order ahead is recommended.

The burn baby burn sauce is an extra dollar, but it’s so good and not much hotter than their “hot” but it’s much more flavorful, there’s also no waiver to sign. The chicken is also very moist and juicy despite being fried well. Their blooming onion is also really good.

My husband and I moved from south Louisiana last year, and since then have been on the hunt for fried chicken that satisfies our southern cravings. This is definitely our new favorite chicken spot! Spice level was perfect (we got medium for sandwiches and hot for wings), and appreciated that they were more focused on being well seasoned and flavorful than just straight up trying to bring the most painful heat level possible.
The breading used on the wings was sooo deliciously crispy crunchy. We were a bit worried since they didn’t come in any sauce but turns out they don’t need it! Incredibly juicy inside and great flavor.
The sandwiches were also quite tasty. Happy to report the pickles used are NOT bread and butter! Maybe next time I would get extra slaw and pickles added to mine, but I just like a lot on my chicken sandwiches.

Radio station was playing all quality picks, though maybe a smidge loud if you’re prone to headaches or have difficultly hearing and following conversation. Indoors is kept very clean and tidy, and the bathrooms were clean and well stocked also.

We had a great dine-in experience at Crimson Coward in Redmond! We ordered the Crimson Chicken (hot), Double Smashed Burger, Single Snash
Burger, and the Mac ’n Cheese & Fries — and everything was absolutely delicious.
The snash burgers were honestly the best I’ve had — and I’ve had a lot. Perfectly seasoned, not overly saucy, and packed with flavor in every bite, especially from the caramelized onions.
The Crimson Chicken sandwich was juicy, flavorful, and had a serious spicy kick. If you like heat, you’ll love this one.
The Mac ’n Cheese was creamy and well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the crispy fries.
Service was quick and friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. The dine-in atmosphere was clean and comfortable — definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!
Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving great fried chicken or smash burgers.
