We loved everything at Khao Yai Thai Kitchen. My husband is a big fan of crispy pork stir-fry and says this place serves the best crispy pork stir-fry in the area — perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The Pad Krapow was spot-on with fragrant basil and a crispy fried egg, and the fish Pad Cha was especially impressive, bursting with authentic Thai herb aromas. Bold, authentic, and absolutely delicious — we’ll definitely be back. ️

Such a great choice for a Holiday date night with my husband. The Pork Belly was cooked to absolute perfection and the Wings were hands down the BEST. No one else does Fried Chicken like a good Thai or Korean restaurant and this one was stellar!

Pro tip, get the Fried Sweet Potatoes for a wonderful appetizer. The flavor and texture were fantastic, and the sauce provided was delicious and sweet!

Don’t forget about the cocktails, and last recommendation, dont be like me and skip the mango sticky black rice, I am STILL regretting not getting some!

Had the Khao Soi and could immediately see why so many people come here for it — perfectly balanced flavors with just the right amount of spice. The portions were generous too! I also tried the Spicy Mango Margarita and loved it — especially the little detail of the straw paper folded into a flower on top, such a cute touch. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, making it a great spot to enjoy a good meal. Highly recommend!

My favorite Thai in Oregon. Food is great and affordable. The service is great – they know everyone’s order in the neighborhood. A real gem in area – great for family dinners or a casual date. Great beers on tap as well and vegan and vegetarian options. Highly recommended. Also have EXCELLENT and unique desserts!!

This was a huge disappointment for every entry ordered. The Salad Rolls were mostly coiled up lettuce wrapped in a sticky, slimy rice paper. The Pad Thai noodles were very overcooked and fell apart when lifted with a fork. Seasoning was absent and sparse amount of chicken was hidden among the pile of sticky noodles. The Tempeh Pad Prik King had red pepper flakes but lacked other seasoning, and the veggies were overcooked. Even worse than the bland, overcooked dishes was the calamari appetizer. This was the worst calamari presentation I have ever experienced. The calamari was dry, rubbery, bland, and very overcooked. It was inedible. The entire meal was a huge waste of money and a big disappointment.

The food isn’t as good compared to other Thai restaurants in town that I have gone to. In fact, the kitchen has been randomly missing item on the dash or the food come out cool in my last two visit as a group. Not sure why the food cannot come out with consistency. It has happened in my last two visit. The place is small. Yet, well decorated. I find service has room of improvement with a particular server. Foods look good as photos on menu. Taste, quality and consistency are not. Hope that will be improved if I have another chance to come.

Authentic Thai Flavors and Exceptional Service at Khao Yai Thai Kitchen!
We recently dined at Khao Yai Thai Kitchen on Barrows Road in Beaverton and were blown away by the authentic Thai flavors and exceptional service. We were so grateful to be able to attend today after church. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The ambiance was quite clean, and despite the crowd, the attention was there the entire time. Our server, Ut, was incredibly attentive and gracious, making sure we had everything we needed.
We ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp, was balanced and delicious. The crunchy chicken with fried basil was another highlight, with perfectly crispy chicken and fragrant basil. We also enjoyed a flavorful noodle dish with curry sauce #44.
For dessert, the coconut ice cream with lemon zest was a revelation. The fresh coconut strands and candied lemon pieces were a delightful touch. Even the Thai iced tea was on point!
Overall, we were extremely pleased with our experience at Khao Yai Thai Kitchen The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly authentic Thai meal in Beaverton. We have to say that we are pretty spoiled being that we were from Los Angeles, California and have had the privilege to frequent many Thai restaurants due to the diversity and variety that are present in SoCal. Since moving to Oregon, we have had great difficulty locating Thai food we love. Thus far, no Thai restaurant has us be repeat customers which is saying a lot since Thai food is one of our favorites. We were losing hope. This definitely will be a restaurant that we will be returning to and also making high recommendations for. Thank you again for a pleasant visit.❤️

Maybe it’s just how these Oregonians like their Thai meal. However, I could not enjoy the big chunks of pineapple, cashew, corn, and other vegetable, which was overcooked mix with mushy rice. The food needed a blend of spices and herbs, small pieces of cut fresh vegetable. Disappointed! The Atmosphere is cosy.

The flavors were spectacular and the presentation is gorgeous. Very nice people and I will seek this out and visit again. I already told another family about it, and I’m sure they will be here to! It’s not your regular American standardized Thai food. It feels like I’ve been transported. I got two items so that I could take some home to enjoy at another time. The portions are quite large.
