Visiting Houston for a couple of days and was told by a coworker about this place. Stopped in and ordered the Brisket Mac Quesadilla. The smoke flavor on the brisket was Amazing!!! Definitely recommend this plate!! My buddy had the Birria Tacos and said they were Really Good also!! Check this place out if you are in the area!!

Today I was lucky to get in before the dinner rush. I brought a co worker, service was wonderful- but the food was better! The brisket quesadillas…”when it touched my mouth I could taste the smoke, 5 fingers smackin”.

We shared an order wings with the house sauce. Those were amazing. “The crunch on them jawns were something else” also official statement.
I had a slice of homies bacon cheese burger. That was phenomenal. “I wish I didn’t share any of that burger”. Burger connoisseur review.
I’ll be back. For sure.
If you can stop by for a beer and bite before a game or after work please do. Shit is real good.

Overall a pretty good menu with various options. Prices might be higher than what people are used but hey, you’re in downtown. You have to pay for parking but again, you’re in downtown, they don’t have control of that. With that being said, I had a great time when I went! I definitely recommend the Mac & Bacon Cheeseburger, it was delicious! Great service, TVs to watch sporting events and a short walk to Astros & Dynamo stadiums. I’ll definitely be back before a Dynamo game!

This place is terrible… and expensive, this pile of garbage food cost over $70 with two soft drinks. The fries were under cooked, the brisket was dry, the cilantro was wilted, the birria tacos were bland and burned. I’ve had better food served to me by gas stations. Please spend your money anywhere else.

The food was fantastic! You can tell they make sure their food is prepared and cooked in a particular way. So flavorful and delicious! Then the owner was one of the coolest people we’ve ever met. He was the epitome of great down south Houston hospitality. Will definitely be back. Should come here after an Astros game

The Cobos atmosphere is unlike any other in the area & you never know what local celebrity you might run in to while you’re there. People are friendly, food is great, unique & worth the price. You get what you pay for! It is one of my favorite places to eat when I’m in the Houston area.
