It’s overpriced. This was my first visit and my overall feelings are the food was fresh, the portions are small and the prices are high. They are higher than Jack’s Urban Eats compared to serving size and that says a lot.
It’s a small corner restaurant space with very limited seating indoor and shared outdoor seating. There’s supposed to be two options to order: self order and assisted, but no one was stationed at the assisted order and after standing there for a few minutes since it was my first time, I opted to try the machine. The food came out within 4 minutes so that was great but for $20 I expected more. At this point I’m not sure how many oz of steak they include.
Overall.. It’s a 3 for me.
I came for lunch with a friend on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Obviously parking down in the ice blocks area can be a bit of an adventure, but I managed to find a spot on the street out front.
We placed our order at the self-service kiosk, and patiently waited for our food. I decided to order a miso glazed salmon salad, I don’t remember the specific name,bBut each, and every bite was absolutely delicious!
I appreciate the quality and freshness of the ingredients that they use and the concept of “eating out” not feeling like you’re eating garbage. I cannot wait to come back and savor more of their menu.
This food is legit healthy and tastes wonderful, and really not too expensive compared to other food places, especially considering the quality. Will definitely come here again.
Orders have been available super fast, in no more tha 3-5 minutes. The staff is very friendly. The bowls and salads are great but I do have one suggestion for improvement. The first time I ate here and had chicken meat on my dish it was mostly white meat. However since then I’ve teceived mostly dark meat. I don’t mind a mixture but serving mostly dark meat gives the dishes a different flavor and also I’d prefer to have a leaner protein on my bowls or salad. Hopefully management can address this concern and perhaps advise if there was a change to the type of meat used.
What confused me most was the avocado delivery. It’s 1/2 an avocado not cut up plopped on top of your bowl. My avocado was also underripe which is bound to happen sometimes. There’s also only plastic forks & no knives. I wish it was sliced but this place seems to get a high volume of take out/delivery orders. It makes sense to leave the avocado cut if you’re trying to avoid browning. All of the other ingredients were great. The kale, especially!! Cut fine, fresh and not at all bitter.
Bella and Lauren were at the front. Both were so sweet, approachable and accommodating to my many questions as a first timer.
I would definitely come back, especially if I was short on time.
