Love this place!!! They steak tips are incredible and the burgers are excellent!!! Was there last weekend and we took the atv trails. I normally make a trip at least once every winter on the snowmobiles!

The food was great, however I was greatly disappointed with the service I received, three different occasions I was treated with disrespect by the same waitress, the older lady with grey hair was extremely rude and I felt like we were being rushed even though we only showed up at 6:45 when you guys close at 8. If there is a way I could contact the owner and speak with her/him more personally I would appreciate it.

We LOVE Boondocks so much!!! The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the service has been great everytime. Dont miss this Fort Fairfield gem. We got try Fiddleheads for the first time, they were great!

Food is decent, drinks are amazing, lunch service is abysmal. We spent an hour in restaurant with a drink each and an appetizer. It took almost 20 minutes for our drink order to even be taken. Bartender served tables that came in after us but didn’t finish our drinks until after serving that table. This is an easy spot for us since it’s right in town but we won’t do lunch here again. Do dinner here, not lunch.

I quite enjoyed my meal at Boondocks. I ordered a classic poutine for an appetizer. The fries were fresh, the cheese was melty, and the gravy was thick (I would prefer a thinner gravy, but I think most people up here prefer the thick gravy). I ordered a crispy chicken house salad for the main meal. The chicken tenders were perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. I cut them up and enjoyed them in the salad. I liked the portions and think that the price was fair. I did not use the restroom, so I can’t comment on that, but the restaurant was clean and cozy. The service was excellent and friendly. I even enjoyed looking around the gift shop. I’m glad I got there before the supper rush hit, though. It’s bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside, but there was still a good sized line of people waiting to be seated.
