We went to my wife’s union Christmas party here. It was catered by Strings and the food was delicious! The waitresses and bartender were AMAZING! Donna and Lori worked so well together, making sure everyone had what they needed.

I write this review with enthusiasm and appreciation for the restaurant, Strings Bar & Grill, and all its staff. This restaurant is what they call a hidden gem. Its outside appearance is cozy with a small fire-pit area. The inside was very comfortable with a bar, comfortable table-seating, and a stage for local and regional musicians.
Now, the most important reason one goes out is the opportunity to experience something outside of the confined walls of their homes. Something that justifies their hard work and lets them relax while being pampered.
After my first time there, now becoming a regular, we got the opportunity to taste exquisite cuisine at its best. I have learned that the reason the food is top-notch is that Chef Al works tirelessly to create plates with fresh ingredients, not frozen, mostly with local ingredients. My main order was the special of the day with Penne draped in a Special Cajun Sauce with Jumbo Shrimp and Roasted Garlic Peppers. The serving was quite large, which allowed me to again experience the flavor the next day for lunch. My husband had Meatballs with Sauce over Pasta, all made from scratch, and said they were the best he EVER had!
In addition to the meal, we got to experience impeccable service (special shout-out to Lori & Donna) and witness an array of Musical Entertainment from their stage.
All at affordable prices!

The music was very good last night. However, the food was not so good. I had the crab-stuffed portobello mushroom. Couldn’t taste the crab and my wife never finished the stuffing.
We also had a dozen wings, 1/2 Buffalo and half Asian garlic. The Buffalo was good. The Asian garlic covering was some gelatinous non-flavored mass. I sent them back and asked to throw some Buffalo sauce on them.

What a great place! Attended a Judy and Deez Guys early show. A perfect blend of hippie music from my 1970’s heyday. I hope to be back again soon. The food was great, especially the bar pizza.

Thursday till Saturday maybe sunday to live band but you have to spend at least $20 dollars. Thursdays is R&B. I got a mix of wings and they have a lot of flavors, Potato skins, Calamari, and empanadas. The price for the food and drinks is great. They have dinners as well just go before 7 they stop making them early.
