Excellent terrace with a few tables right next to the river.

Scialatielli is a type of short, thick, and slightly spongy pasta originating from the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy.

Unlike long pasta like spaghetti, scialatielli are roughly hand-cut and have a rustic, slightly irregular shape that holds sauces well.

Its name comes from the Neapolitan dialect “scialare,” meaning “to enjoy”.

The food was very good, but the price left a bitter aftertaste.

We ordered two pasta carbonaras and were recommended a sharing bread by the waitress—which we assumed would be a small extra, but it turned out to cost over £20 alone. With just two soft drinks, the total bill came to just under £90.

While the food was high quality and the setting beside the river was lovely, especially with the sunshine and passing tourists, the value just wasn’t there—especially when compared to other great restaurants in the area.

I’ve rated this five stars for the food, but just one star for the service, as we felt a bit misled into ordering something we wouldn’t have chosen had we known the price. The atmosphere was pleasant, but I’ll likely try somewhere else next time.

Fantastic meal and great service. Had multiple lasagne’s that everyone thought was fantastic. Pizzas that were all great. The desserts were all great that included Tortino Cioccloato, Tartuffe Di Pizzo and Zitronen Tartlet. And great host and top notch service. Great value.

The view if you sit outside is stunning! That said, service was slow (over an hour to get our main and we were just a party of two) and the food was just okay. The pasta was way undercooked and the truffle pizza was brought out with basically an ice cold piece of mozzarella. It made the bites of pizza very weird.

Food and service were great. Since this restaurant is right by the river there are some bugs around but that’s not unique to this restaurant. They do have this incense thing they burn and that gets rid of them completely!
Overall, great food, service, and location! Definitely recommend!

The tuna here was so incredible! I was craving something that wasn’t meat after many days of the Swiss-German diet, and this truly hit the spot. The bruschetta was tasty, the tuna entree was my favorite, and the pasta was also really good. Of course, we did not skip on dessert- the lemon tartlette was sooo good, not too sweet, and perfectly tart! The location is also really great, right by the river.

Came for breakfast as a large group. There is plenty of seating, stunning views of the town, castle, and the lake. Food and drink were excellent. The staff were very attentive. Would recommend this place just on the views alone.

The Caesar salad is overpriced with 27 CHF, it was not so good, small. For two salads, an iced tea and a water 65 CHF WAY to expensive. Tourist Trap. Service is nice though

Stopped her for lunch while exploring Lucerne by foot. it seems all of the restaurants on the other side of the river are very busy and crowded. But on this side of the river they were quieter and not as busy. Thought that might mean the food/service is not as good but i was wrong. Our lunch here was really good and a peaceful experience next to the river. I had the lemon chicken special and it was great. My partner had the spicy pizza and it was good as well. The view was the best part though.

We came here today to have lunch. The pizza was excellent! You can sit outside to have a meal with the view of the bridge, or sit inside and have a cozy meal. The staff was also so nice and friendly. The service was really fast. And again, the pizza was GREAT!!!
