We ate at Toro Sushi last night. It was our first time there. It is a small restaurant with very limited seating and based on what we observed does a booming take-out business. It does have several seats at the sushi bar. But don’t let its small size throw you off- everything we tried was excellent and the service spot on and very friendly.
We started with a couple of Asahi beers served nice and cold. Next we ordered a Rainbow roll and a Spider roll. Each was nicely plated and delicious. The various flavors stood out reflecting the freshness and quality of the fish.
We also ordered tuna sashimi and salmon sashimi. In my opinion this is one of the best ways to sample the true quality of the fish a restaurant is purchasing and serving. Each piece was buttery soft, delicate in flavor and superb tasting.
Pricing was reasonable especially considering the quality of the fish. We will certainly be back.

Great sushi place! Very down to earth and great bang for your buck and very legit sushi. One of my favorite sushi places in Henderson and Vegas.
This is coming from someone that typically goes for nigiri instead of rolls.
They carry Santa Barbara uni here which I prefer over Hokkaido.

What an amazing night and it was even better cus our server jenny was absolutely amazing and she was so friendly polite and had such an amazing personality we loved it she made our night memorable thats for sure I’ll definitely be back for round 2 cus the service was perfect Jenny is so sweet so if yr in the area come see jenny she will treat you like family 10/10 service

I am Las Vegas born and raised native – and this is one of my favorite sushi spots to come to. The team is always incredibly welcoming and all greet you the moment you walk in (it almost feels like family welcoming you in). And as someone who 8/10 dines alone by choice to enjoy it – this always means the world when I walk in here for it to feel like that.
Additionally, their service is impeccable. In a city full of ‘All You Can Eat’ options, going to a place that isn’t that is wildly refreshing. There is always so much love poured into their dishes and it’s noticeable – unlike so many of the AYCE establishments. And I love the intimacy of the space, as it’s quaint and welcoming too.
They also have THE BEST lunch special in town for sushi (and their dinner special is out of this world too). But I oftentimes come for lunch and order the ‘Sushi Lunch’ combo, and let me tell you it’s the best. For the price and the quality of the food, you cannot beat it (and the chefs always provide an amazing 6 piece ‘Chef’s Choice’).
I have been coming here for many years and will not be stopping any day soon.

My kids and I loved our sushi here and the service was great. They do not skimp on the serving sizes unlike many other cheaper sushi places. I loved the Salmon Lover roll (rice free) so much that I ordered it again and enjoyed that the same role had its own unique presentation! Great little sushi spot!

The servers were so amazing! Two lovely ladies! They both never let my water get to even halfway down before coming and refilling it. They also were very friendly. I came alone to treat myself because I was feeling sad about something personal. It was my first time there. As soon as I came in, all the staff (even the sushi chefs) greeted me. It was so cute! The two women were smiling so big, asking me how I am doing, and talking to me regarding my menu questions in such a friendly warm manner- it turned my whole mood around! The food was FANTASTIC! Big portions and delicious flavors. The salad dressing was so so yummy!!! Also, normally, I feel like chicken teriyaki and California rolls taste basic, but not here. The marinade was special. TBH, with the perfectly cooked chicken and the marinade…..

I felt that the lunch special I got was worth more than I paid for it. I was so impressed that I left double the tip that I normally would. And right before I left, I wrote on the receipt, “Best service in town!” I will definitely be back in the future.

This is definitely my favorite sushi spot in Vegas/Henderson. Great service and rolls always come out quick. Most sushi spot’s rolls are half the size of Toro but the same price. I have not had a bad experience the dozen times I have been here.

I love this place! Small, so finding seating can be a bit difficult in peak times, but the food is fabulous. Best bet is setting a reservation so that you know you’ll have a table.
There is no seating outdoors, so another option is taking your sushi to-go.

Honestly, this is the best sushi I’ve ever had in the States. I love sushi, but I’ve often had stomach issues after eating it, no matter how fancy the place was. Even at pricey omakase spots, I didn’t always feel great afterward.
This place is different. Everything tastes truly fresh, the food is consistently excellent, and I’ve never felt uncomfortable after a meal here. The uni is especially amazing. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is genuinely friendly. I really hope more people get the chance to try this place.
