Lunch started out very well here with crispy and tasty chips with what seemed like homemade salsa–very fresh tasting.
I ordered fajitas tilapia which came with more fish than I could eat and the fish was very tender and well seasoned. It was as good as I’d expect in a restaurant the served mainly fish dishes. The beans and rice that came with it were very tasty and the vegetables were fresh. If you don’t want any dairy on the fajitas they will gladly serve it that way. Both the corn and flour tortillas (you can get either or both) were fresh and very good.
Service was prompt and attentive. We were that at a very slow time so I can’t say what it’s like when its busy.
I would definitely go back.

First time at this place and I must say all three of us were extremely satisfied with our food and service I got the Margarita chicken which was absolutely delicious the rice had excellent flavor and black beans as well. Their chips and salsa was delicious as well. All three of us decided that we will be coming back here to eat thank you so much for the wonderful food today and the great service.

I ordered Enchiladas Supreme which has 4 enchiladas (chicken, beef, cheese, been)
The been was not good at all, the cheese was ok, didn’t like the flavor of the beef but the chicken was really good.
Also got desserts which was the best part, their desserts were really good and I liked the churros so much.

Mixed bag of good and not so good. The traditional margarita was OK but it’s got nothing on El Azteco in Lansing. I had a beef enchilada and it basically had no flavor. However the side of refried beans were very good with a side if chips. The tamales were very tasty but I had a bite of a chicken taco and almost couldn’t get it down. The chicken was super dry and chewy. Someone at our table got the veggie Chimichanga and he gave up on it after 3 or 4 bites.
When our family goes out for dinner it’s considered a splurge and something special. Dropping over $100 for below average Mexican food as our food splurge was very disturbing.
I think the issue is their menu is way to big. 7 full pages of options. They need to scale it back and hone in on perfecting less offering IMOP.

Would highly NOT recommend. Birria tacos are made incorrectly with beef not lamb causing my husband horrible acid reflux and the consumè was made completely wrong. They just put enchilada sauce on the side for my husband. The service was a young person whom mis understood us when we asked for hot tamatio sauce. This food was 1/10 horrible

Decided to try Don Juan’s for the first time and it was just ok. Not bad and not great. The chips and salsa were good. My tacos were just good nothing spectacular as far as flavor. However, I did not care for the beans. Other than that if you’re craving some tacos this place could probably satisfy you.
