This was our second visit to Kristi’s, and we had another positive experience. There were plenty of tables available, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was fantastic. We started with the cheese curds, which I feel is necessary when visiting Wisconsin. They were crisp and hot, very tasty. The included sauce had a bacon-like flavor. They have a good variety of wine and craft beers. I enjoyed the lobster & crab bisque, honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered their featured appetizer (fried lobster tail) for my meal, and I would absolutely do it again. The tail was cut into bite size pieces, then breaded & fried perfectly. It was served with melted butter, which made it even more amazing. This place will be closing permanently this summer, so do yourself a favor and check it out while you can. I hope they will reopen somewhere some day.

100% recommended! Such a lovely experience. Kristi’s is like someone turned their enormous house into a restaurant. The staff are incredible. We loved the apps and entrées. The dessert was not as good. But the overall experience was so nice, it was okay 🙂

Neat location, service was great. We both had steak with veggies. The steak cuts were definitely low grade for the tenderloin and the New York strip. The veggies were delicious though! All and all, decent and the prices were on par for what we got.

Everything we had was excellent! There is a good chef here who does a lot of homemade items. Crabcakes are one of their specialties & the desserts were great!

Overall, it was a Great Dining Experience! This was my first time dining at Kristi’s for many years, and it did not disappoint. The Martini to start with was extra dirty as ordered and was perfect! Started my meal with the shrimp cocktail, which was unique and quite tasty! Had the Lobster Bisque, and that was fantastic. Steak and Scallops for my main course, and they were prepared to perfection! Will be back soon to try something new from the menu!

We tried the burger, chicken sandwich and steak burrito/wrap. All were good. Service was friendly. We were able to have our lunch on the porch where we could enjoy the carillon music from the church and see the people and new glarus brewery cart and horses parade by.

This is my favorite place to eat in town. Always welcoming, always great food, always something a little different. And… creme brulee!! Love it and highly recommend!

Great place for a good meal. My burger was cooked to order. Nice to have a New Glarus beer on tap. Nice art work in the rooms. Cost of a burger a beer was about $25.

Had lunch with my wife and some friends in New Glarus at Kristi’s. It was lunch but we wanted Wiener Schnitzel. They normally only do that at lunch but they made it for three of us anyway. It was excellent. The cheese cuts were also very good. Washed it down with a Spotted Cow from the local brewery.
