We had a wonderful dinner at Masala Desi. We starter with two appetizers and drinks. I particularly enjoyed the chicken with a lemon sauce. The salmon with red curry was outstanding; the steak in green curry was flavorful as was the chicken in green curry. The coconut ice cream was a tasty end to a great meal. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was modern and bright. It was our first visit and we will be back!

Had the dosa and the combo platter plus my favorite paneer Tikka and had to try the samosas and the chai tea!
Food was flavorful. Spice was on point and it was not oily.

Masala Desi Cafe is a total win. Their chat is the perfect balance of crunchy, tangy, spicy and a bit of chaos – exactly what a desi chaat should be like. The vegetable biryani is layered and fragrant, each spoonful screams spice, aroma and texture. The dosa and uttapam are crisp, warm and grounding – simple dishes done with quiet confidence. But the real winner is the chai – made me smile with the first sip – it’s out of the world! Perfectly spiced and strong. This place is generous even for vegetarians. Go try it out!

Fantastic food. Staff was very friendly. Salad was nicely prepared with a variety of ingredients and the dressing was delicate and not overpowering. We had a lamb vindaloo nicely seasoned with perfect amount of heat and good quantity of meat and potatoes. The masala dosa came with a nice assortment of three sauces. The chai was good with a bit of a caffeine kick.

This is a cool little spot, to enjoy some very good Indian food. The star was definitely the Samosa Chaat and the Garlic Naan. The Curry and the Butter Chicken were also very good, but the Chaat and Naan stole the show. Definitely stop in if you want a quick little bite of Indian food.

A good restaurant tucked away in a corner. The restaurant is a bit small, but they have outdoor seating. The servers was fast and attentive.
The food was great. We ordered 2 masala chai, 1 poori, 2 naan, 1 lamb curry and 1 chicken tikka masala curry. My all time favorite would be the Chicken Tikka Masala I always order one dish in any Indian restaurant I visit, while my hubby’s favorite would be Lamb curry. Spicy enough for his preference.

Its a small restaurant but the food and service they are providing is excellent compared to other Indian restaurants near burlingame they serve the best food.
Butter chicken and their Boneless chicken biriyani both are underrated. I would definitely recommend to try their food once.

BEST ALOO TIKKI CHAT AND SAMOSA. And MASALA Chai — the best in the bay-mid peninsula so far!!! The quality of their food, and the ambient atmosphere of the place, clean, good music, the lighting, the friendly nice staffs!!! It gives me a cozy feeling to e joy my food!!!

Finally had a time to leave review for this amazing place that we dined 2 times while on our trip to California.
The place is amazing with variety of Indian food options, place is also cozy and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Coming from
Canada and finding a comfort Indian food, we came across this place and thought to give it a try and our first experience on first day of trip made us come back on the last day of trip too.
Their veggie biryani was everything, their curries were delicious too and the Mango lassi was yummmm
The staff, specially Arjun and Arun were the most amicable and friendly. They provided good suggestions for the food to eat and places to visit as well. Their service was also excellent leaving our experience as memorable as possible.
Will definitely recommend this place for a good, friendly , comfortable qnd welcoming experience for anyone visiting in and around the area.
