The food is authentic and very delicious. The service was very slow due to only one person working. I still give five stars since they’re located in Pierre and considering that the reason they only have one person working is most likely due to the covid-19 pandemic. The restaurant is smaller but offers the ambiance of an authentic Mexican restaurant. The chips were fresh, salsa is good but slightly runny. The queso cheese dip was just right. The spicy salsa is offered in a plastic dispenser. The spiciness fulfilled my need to help cleanse my sinuses. Ha. I would recommend this restaurant to my family, friends, and anyone looking for some delicious authentic Mexican food. Thank you!

Best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in a long time! My boyfriend and I split the Gallo Molcajete and still had leftovers! Good portions, and authentic spices/ flavors ! We got our meal brought out to us within 10-15 minutes . The atmosphere was nostalgic and took me back to a time when I’d visit family in Mexico. Will be coming back any time I can!

I found myself in Pierre for work and was so happy to find this place. I ended up eating here twice and both meals were perfect. Antonio’s a great guy, and the food will blow you away. Highly recommend.

Everything is watered down, even their salsa that seems like all they did was add alot of salt and legit no salsa. They have alot of options on the menu but little to no pictures to see what it is since the titles of the food are in Spanish. What you read isn’t what you get either, I ordered this and it’s supposed to have sour cream on it and 4 slices of avocado. Won’t come back.

Good salsa. The cheese in the cheese enchiladas wasn’t melted which was a first and didn’t taste that great. Guacamole tasted like avocados weren’t ripe yet. Order notes weren’t followed.

Ok, i’ll admit it. The last thing i expected to find in Pierre South Dakota was a good Mexican restaurant but this place…is it! Great food, great prices, really nice staff….the owner himself came to the table to ask how the food was and such. Not the usual food we were accustomed to from Southern California, but excellent. I can recommend the smoked pork chop with a chorizo sauce enough! There may be other Mexican food in Pierre, but THIS is the one you must try!
